Agnes RF for under eyes - they look much worse than before

5 weeks out - lateral fat pads worse than before waiting for collagen balls to go away … Am hoping once the collagen balls dissolve or whatever, that the lateral fat pads will return to how they were before (or better) The practitioner recommends another Agnes treatment but I am hesitant. If I could go back I would just do Sylfirm RF and other treatments that can go close to the eye area. For me, Agnes has been close to 2 months of healing and extra insecurity about an area I only wanted to slightly improve :/

Agnes RF for Undereyes
ALynnOctober 21, 2023
I don’t have a before picture, but I never really had bad undereye bags, however my outer eye fat pads bothered me some so I decided to try Agnes RF for undereyes… 2 weeks in and they look much worse than before (with these collagen bumps, which massaging doesn’t seem to work except to swell my eyes up all over again). I wish I had know the downtime could be much longer with these bumps (someone said wait 4-6 weeks , then I’ve also heard 2 months).. at this point I’m so stressed I am wishing I had never done it. Does anyone have experience with this after Agnes RF?? Suggestions ?

I’ve since learned that ideally right after Agnes treatment, you should also be treated with Scarlett RF to help healing and minimize collagen bumps… i was treated with Vivace right after, so that is probably why I had so many bumps. / had an expert practitioner in Agnes RF do light Scarlett treatment in my eye area and it seems to be helping the healing process. Am interested if any other practitioners have opinions about this?

Thanks for sharing your experience - it sounds really frustrating and disappointing. Have you seen much progress since you posted about the Scarlett RF treatment?

So I waited several weeks, then had a practitioner perform Sylfirm RF on the bumps to try and help them break down faster (it did help some, although still have some residual bumps and more lateral fat pad profusion than before the Agnes)… the original practitioner says she can do more Agnes on the lateral fat pads, but from what I’ve been reading I wonder if it is just taking more time for the fat in those areas to go away… Even though I’m still unhappy with my results, I had so much downtime and stress from the original Agnes procedure, I’m hesitant to do more. Any advice or expertise in this area is welcome!

I have the same bumps on the outer corners of my eyes and am almost 2 weeks post. Have yours gone away yet?
Thanks!
