Agnes RF for under eyes - they look much worse than before
ORIGINAL POST
Agnes RF for Undereyes

I don’t have a before picture, but I never really had bad undereye bags, however my outer eye fat pads bothered me some so I decided to try Agnes RF for undereyes… 2 weeks in and they look much worse than before (with these collagen bumps, which massaging doesn’t seem to work except to swell my eyes up all over again). I wish I had know the downtime could be much longer with these bumps (someone said wait 4-6 weeks , then I’ve also heard 2 months).. at this point I’m so stressed I am wishing I had never done it. Does anyone have experience with this after Agnes RF?? Suggestions ?

5 weeks out - lateral fat pads worse than before waiting for collagen balls to go away … Am hoping once the collagen balls dissolve or whatever, that the lateral fat pads will return to how they were before (or better) The practitioner recommends another Agnes treatment but I am hesitant. If I could go back I would just do Sylfirm RF and other treatments that can go close to the eye area. For me, Agnes has been close to 2 months of healing and extra insecurity about an area I only wanted to slightly improve :/

My collagen balls are much smaller… so many of them.. I’m trying to message them… have you found messaging helps at all?

Unfortunately massaging them did not help mine.. I have gotten 2 rounds of SylfirmX RF done on the spots (by an experienced practitioner because Sylfirm has a lot of different settings - they had to use a specific setting to break up the balls)… Anyhow, it helped some, but I am still waiting for them to completely go away (and I’m going on month 4…. But was advised it could take up to 5-6 months for mine :/

Hello,
I have the same bumps on the outer corners of my eyes and am almost 2 weeks post. Have yours gone away yet?

They did eventually go away …but it took a while for mine to go away (which I have since found out is not typical - most are gone within 4 weeks … mine were large and took a few months to completely go away). Although the practitioner advised massaging them I do not think that helped (it only caused the surrounding tissue to swell). What I do think helped (which I wish I’d found out sooner) was using an eye retinol cream (i used one by the brand ROC eye retinol cream which is not expensive / comes in a small tube and used every night I feel like that helped them go away finally). Good luck!

Hi there - so to confirm, have all of your symptoms resolved? Do your eyes look improved now from the Agnes treatment?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Now it’s officially 1 year out and after this treatment I spent so much $ on RF Microneedling and PRP injections to try and help the under eyes from the Agnes treatment… I have since learned that Agnes is not ideal when applied to the “lateral fat pad” area because it can disrupt lymphatics (which is I think what happened in my case). Anyhow all that $ I would’ve been better off doing a lower Bleph (or just leaving my eyes as they were which wasn’t so bad). So for me, Agnes under eyes was not worth it

Thanks for sharing your experience - it sounds really frustrating and disappointing. Have you seen much progress since you posted about the Scarlett RF treatment?
