Cosmelan MD for Melasma in Orange County

Woke up this morning to peeling around my mouth. I don't really feel like the redness went down at all. I washed my face with a mild cleanser and applied cosmelan 2. Waited 15 minutes and applied hydra-vital k and sunscreen. I felt slight stinging. The peeling is pretty bad. I'm hopeful the skin underneath will be melasma free.

hey! how are things going...im so interested in this procedure...where did you get it done at...and how are you feeling?
I would have to say that the texture of my skin has improved dramatically but the pigmentation came back in some areas. I would say it made my skin better overall but did not erase my pigmentation

So this morning I woke up to a super red face so I decided to skip the cosmelan 2 application and just use the hydra-vital K moisturizer followed by SPF. Mid morning I am starting to see some peeling around the mouth area. I am having a bit of anxiety on the level of redness my face is at the moment. I am just hoping this is all worth it and my face color will go back to normal.
