After 7 Years of Contemplation I Am Getting Breast Implants!

Several years ago I started looking into breast implants and here I am, finally ready to take the leap! I am filled with both excitement for the new changes I’ll be making and anxiety over the money I’m spending and recovery. I had my consultation back in November and have paid for my surgery and set the date to February 18th. I will be choosing Dr. Weider in Dallas, Texas. The reason I am choosing Dr. Weider is because he has a great present online as far as reviews go and his surgical consultants, kimber, was THE BEST and made me feel so heard and understood and reassured during my consultation. I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that I’m in great hands with her at Dr. W’s side.
Here are a few of my wish pics. They assured me they will see what size will fit in my chest properly with the goal in mind of getting me as closed to my desired outcome as possible. Currently I am a pancake looking size B after having two kiddos! I am 5’5” and sit around 133 lbs.

Wow, tons of typos in my last post! That’ll teach me not to skip proof reading :) Here is what I am working with now. My procedure is three weeks out and i wish the time would hurry up! Due to the size of my frame and the elasticity in my skin, probably from pregnancy, we are going to attempt a 550-600cc with the understanding there is a small chance it may not work. What i like about Dr. Weider’s office so far is they let me know they have a range of sizes in the operating room during the procedure and they actually try them on during surgery while referring to the wish pictures. That makes me feel like as a patient my desired outcome is kept in mind while trying to do what is best for my size and measurements.

Picked up my items!

Today I picked up my medications, compression socks, and OTC meds. I am ready! The pharmacy was out of stock on Hibiclense soap, though, so I will have to find that before the big day. Before insurance my medications were $112 but after they ran insurance it was about $55. Not bad! I’m feeling prepared :)
