After 15 Years of Thinking About It, I Couldn’t Be Happier With My Septoplasty

WORTH IT
I had my septorhinoplasty in September this year (3 months ago) after considering surgery on and off for nearly 15 years. I finally decided that this was the right time, and after doing a lot of research, I found Mr. Atherton. Seeing examples of his natural rhinoplasty results made me feel confident enough to book a consultation.
From the start, Mr. Atherton was incredibly professional. He gave me realistic expectations and was very clear about what could be achieved visually without compromising my breathing, which was my biggest concern. My nose leaned to the left, felt quite large, and I had a deviated septum that affected my breathing, so the last thing I wanted was to lose any function. I actually hoped to improve it. He also showed me a morph of what the outcome could look like, which helped me understand the plan.
I booked the surgery for September, and the entire process was smooth and reassuring. Meeting him again before the operation made me feel confident that we were working toward the same goals.
The recovery was surprisingly easy. I experienced almost no pain, only congestion, which was expected. After one week, when the cast was removed, I could already see where the results were heading, and I was genuinely pleased. By two weeks, I was walking around normally with only a little swelling and congestion left.
Overall, the whole experience has been much better than I anticipated. I am truly happy with the results. My nose is now straight, my breathing has improved a lot, and the change has made a big impact on my confidence. This was something I thought about almost every day for years, and finally having it done feels life changing. I am incredibly thankful to Mr. Atherton and so glad I found him.
