Ethnic Rhinoplasty night before - always wanted to change my nose

Definitely trust the process. Everyday my nose is changing for the better. No one seems to know that I got a nose job but does state something looks different. I’m definitely not feeling ow I was in the beginning. My nose does swell often still, itches like hell when I tape, has a little small bump that Dr Shah will use later on for improvement. Love the fact that I went local so with any issues I can go to the office with no problem. Can’t wait to see what the final result will look like. Dr shah is the best frfr one thing for certain is that you must trust the process and have realistic expectations no matter how hard it is those first couple of weeks. I know I didn’t take this advice and my mental was messed up because of it.

So I’m 6 weeks. I had a really short (like 30sec) virtual update with the Dr. I tried to hurry to discuss my concerns. Which was addressed with “ your still early and swollen” which is so true lol. Im beginning to like it but have concerns with my nose looking pointy/too large and sides of nose looking pinched. One of the nice ladies working at the office stated that if concerns with the tip aren’t resolves at the 3 month mark I can possibly do steroid injections. My nostrils hole are sooooooo much better. I’m so happy with the shape it’s taking. Some days I’m feel amazing some days I’m concerned that I look really different. But again I’m trusting this whole process and can’t wait to see how my 3 month mark will be.

Although I’m still healing, I’m feel a little better than I did 1 week or 2 before. I’m starting to see some positive changes and trying to trust the process. I just know this journey is not for the weak. My face looks so different and not always in a good way. But some days I look and see great results. It’s definitely not instant gratification but I do believe in time I would love what I have. I think i still have a lot swelling, I have a funny looking smile, my nostrils looks funny sometimes, allergies is kicking my butt, and it’s hot outside so no hiding under a mask on those iffy days.
