Update

So I've had 2 cortisone injections in the tip of my nose just about 4 weeks ago. WOW! hahaha! What feeling! Yes, it was painful, but not painful enough not to go through it again. The swelling has gone down a little after the injections. The tip still feels weird when touched. My ear as well is still sore when touched or if I try laying on that side of my head at bedtime. I'm now using Biocorneum to treat my scars. I'm an extremely impatient person so I'm looking forward to the end result. Which isn't coming soon enough for my likings! I've continued to use my Q-tips to clean the inside of my nose out of fear of damaging something. If you have any other questions feel free to ask away!

Splint/ stich removal

I had my splint and stitches removed yesterday. WOW! The removal of the stitches should come with a shot vodka! lol! Well my incisions so far look amazing. I can't see them at all, kudos to Dr. B! Since the removal of the splint my nose has swollen big time. I'll share pics that were taken today. The pics of me in the plaid blazer was taken the yesterday outside of his office after the removal. I'm now using Aquaphor ointment that was given to me at my appointment. I am going to use it until my next appointment which is in 9 days. I still have black eye, and swelling. My nose still looks massive to me. I wore makeup in the pics in the brown blazer. I've also notice that my nostrils are completely different, and to add my nose looks crooked. Could all be from the swelling ( praying that's the issue). I'm trying not to freak out yet! I've done enough research to know that swelling can cause the nose to look different, and one side can have more swelling than the other side. I'm not going to email Dr. B, I know that's an option. But, I'm sure he'll tell me everything I've already researched on my own. He's very attentive, and he responds quickly. I' emailed over the weekend because my splint was lifting and yep he responded promptly! ..... I still have nothing negative to say. It's too early in my journey to give a honest opinion on if it's worth it our not.

Nostrils are smaller Day 5 Post-OP

Didn't want a pinched nose! Still applying Bacitracin Ointment 3x a day, and cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide. All given to me in a cute little care package from Dr. It seems like it's healing great to to, and he said the same at my last follow-up. I've stop using my drip pads two days ago. I can breath normal, but underneath my eyes I feel a sinus pressure feeling when I touch the area. My ear is healing nicely to my knowledge, but my ear is numb around the upper lobe. It has no feeling in it, I'm not worried about it! Maybe it's a good time to go out for a upper ear piercing! NOT JK lol
