Still here

WORTH IT$6,000
I'm honestly back to square one. My nose is flat affff.
Im trying to remain positive as there isn't anything I can do but wait until next May. In the mean time I'll try to enjoy my life with my flat nose. Has this happened to anyone else? Collapsed cartilage?

wow I hope he gives you a free revision!
ear cartilage is known to not hold up well, it's better to use rib, that may be why your nose collapsed.
Do you to pay for the revision?
Thank you for sharing
Revision rhinoplasty cost double the previous one.
It's actually half the past. I only have to pay for administrative cost
My tip collapsed. It's not so noticeable unless I smile. Mine collapsed a few months after surgery.
I didnt know that this was common. Are you getting it revised?

Revision needed

So I went to Dr. Ghersi today for my 3 month update and was advised that my cartilage in my nose had collapsed and that I will need a revision surgery for my tip. I am beyond grateful that Dr. Ghersi was honest, as some doctors would lie and say "it looks great!"
Over the past few weeks I had been saying that I'd want a revision next year if it didnt change and that it looked so flat in comparison to what it looked like the day of cast removal. I loved my nose after cast removal and dont know what could of happened over these last 10 weeks. I just hope that when I get revision that it works this time and that my body doesnt collapse the cartilage again.
ALWAYS GO WITH YOUR INTUITION! AS I KNEW THAT SOMETHING WENT WRONG AFTER THE FIRST MONTH.

Oh wow. Glad this could be corrected and that the Dr. was honest. Looking forward to your updates about the revision surgery!
Yes, so happy that he was honest. Praying it works this time
Oh wow, I hope you manage to get itsorted. Just curious, what type of cartilage did he use at the tip? Was it septal, ear, rib?
He used ear cartilage. This time he said he wants to use rib cart

I had a very comparable experience. At 5 weeks post op, my nose was stiff, bulbous, and high. I try. I try to stay out of the mirror and continue to trust the healing process.
Hi, how does your nose look now?
Looks soooo beautiful. Love your results!!!!
Thank you!
