I’m loving my nose each days. Doctor removed my nose bandage 5days post op and i open my nose tape on 9th days because so oily.
Swelling on cheeks start 2days post op, doctor said it will be until 2 weeks post op, but i feel better on 10-11th days. Tomorrow exactly my 2 weeks post op.
Nose still clogged sometimes and runny.

6.00AM I wakeup, and last night nurse also come to my room checking my blood pressure and telling me that Anesthesiologists will come to meet me.
7.15 AM Anesthesiologist came, she asking my name and basic questions same like nurse asking me last night, she inform me that my blood test it’s perfect and she’s ready for join surgery with me. She checked my throat and everything is perfect.
8.00 AM Dr.Umit nurse in Otrila came, asking my condition and inform me that I need to wait for surgery room because it’s still using by other doctor and she can’t telling me exactly when I will have surgery but make sure won’t until afternoon.
9.00 AM my husband get breakfast from hospital whilr i only can see him, I’m still not able to eat or drink until surgery.
Nurse come to my room and give me surgery dress and head cap.
09.45 am another nurse come and telling me to get ready and change my clothes, I said wait 5 minutes because my husband was going to pharmacy to buy his flu medicine. She’s said no problem
10.10 AM I’m ready for surgery, nervous, my head gets cold, my tummy feel upset.
10.20 AM i go to operating room and wait more than 30-45 minutes. While wait i meet dr Umit and one of I think he’s assistant ENT resident, he asking how I feel and which nose I want, like I said i kept make sure my nose tip narrow and slim and I also told him that right now my nose are clogged. He kept saying yes and smiling telling me, sure i will do that for you make your tip narrow and slim and make alar as small as possible also i will check your nose clogged when I open.
Maybe at 11AM i go to surgery room, move to surgery bed, there’s 3 woman nurses and 2 man.
A man put anesthesia to me while asking my name and where I came from, and less than a minute I don’t remember anything.
I don’t know what time but everyone trying to wakeup me in recovery room, I wakeup and feeling so heavy sleepy but I try to kept my eyes open. Everyone said congratulations to my perfect surgery.
I didn’t realize that I’m shivering so so bad, my lips is moving uncontrollably, but I didn’t feel any cold. Nurse put hot vacum inside my blanket and it helps me.
I try feeling my legs and everything just perfect, just feel you wakeup from sleep have no any problem.
2.45PM i back to my room, my husband and family was waiting me there. Nurse move me to my bed and change my surgery dress into my pajamas.
They give me ice compress to my face. I looked my nose and it’s so good!!! I love my nose. Even it still hide under plastic bandage.
My husband just being my other half, he change my ice packs every 45minutes. I have ice packs on my face until my sleep time around 11pm.
I feel really good about everything, my rib incision just feel a little bit tender but it bearable.
After 6 PM i got my first meal, but I cannot taste anything because my nose clogged with tampon, yet i still eat for my energy.
My husband asking me if i want to walk and we go to corridor to slow walking, I met another Rhinoplasty patient too there with really swelling and bruises in her face, I’m so lucky i had non of them but nurses said it can be appeared on 2-3rd day.
Nurse said I should drink plenty of water because I should pee as soon as possible, luckily after she said that i pee.lol
Doctor Umit come to visit me with his assistant around at 9pm. He checked my condition and take the tampon from my nose, it’s feel hurt when he take it. He said my surgery went perfect and he made nose like i want, he make my tip really narrow and my alar as small as possible. He gave medicine and explain how to use, he told that my rib incision will be hurt 1-3days but it’s normal. He said I can check out from hospital next day around 11am, and he told to control on 1 May at 4pm at his Clinic (5 days post op, because I only be able stay at short time in Istanbul and he said it’s okay). He also kept reminding if there’s anything I want to ask feel free to text him.
I got paracetamol iv and antibiotic at night.
I think that was so far I can remember, now I’m 6 days post op getting better and happy. I need time to write my next review. Hope it’s can be helpful to anyone xx
