2 week update!!

Sorry for the delay. I flew back home to the west coast and had to settle in and focus on work. Here’s a pic as of today. As you can see, Its still really swollen so I can’t see the results yet. He had to break bones and bring my nostrils in. When he first removed the cast and there was little swelling, i could tell its going to look good. Patience is key!!! Ask me anything, and i’ll do my best to answer!

Day of treatment
Surgery complete!
Hey y’all
My surgery took place this morning at 7am ET.
I met with Dr Rizk and told him what I wanted.
He said he narrowed my bones, define my tip, and made my nostril smaller.
Im in bed now relaxing and icing. On a scale of 1-10, my pain is a 3. I took extra strength Tylenol. Im drinking pineapple juice to help with swelling. I have to wear my cast for a week.
So happy i got through it. Cant wait to see what my new nose look like. Will take some pics soon

Congratulations!! I’ve been looking at Dr. Rizk’s work and I think he is very skilled. Was the cost actually $19,000? I’m from
NY but reside in Nashville currently. I had a consultation today and was quoted $11,747. Just trying to get a feel for what’s is the average cost.

My surgery date got postponed!
The day before my flight to NYC, Dr Rizk office called me and let me know they had to cancel my surgery. Apparently, Dr Rizk was exposed to someone who have Covid and wanted to take extra precautions. So he cancelled all the surgeries he had scheduled this week. Obviously its frustrating because it takes so much planning for surgery like this especially when you are flying across the country. I had to cancel my flight, get a refund with nursing agency, get refund for my Airbnb, and my covid test. Still working though this but may not be able to get a refund on all.
Even though it’s extremely inconvenient, I think Dr. Rizk made the right decision to quarantine after covid exposure. Working directly in my nose is definitely a health risk.
My new surgery date is Feb 22nd. My consultation will be right before my surgery since this is the first day he is back in the office.
Despite the mishap, I’m confident Dr. Rizk is the right doctor for me, and Im hopeful I will get the nose I want. I will continue to keep you all posted

OMG will be following your journey and I hope everything turns out amazing for you! Sucks you had to postpone but like you said it's better to be safe than sorry. Excited to see your results please keep posting and once again am wishing you the very best. Dr. Rizk does really great work I know you're gonna love your results !
Sorry it got postponed. But sounds like he is doing the right thing for his and your safety. I also considered Dr. Rizk---He seems like a very skilled surgeon.
Can't wait to see your results, my surgery is March 24th with Dr. Marcel Ghersi.
