African American Female Revision Rhinoplasty With Rib Graft

It's been 7 months since I had the revision. No breathing problems, no complications and I still like the way it looks. I am planning to get an additional surgery soon (nasal sill excisions) so that I could have narrow nostrils! I also got 360 liposuction so I'm going to post a separate review for that soon...

I had the best experience w/ Dr. Chaudhry, so I wanted to post my review & share pictures. My primary rhinoplasty w/ another doctor was in 2017 but I didn’t like the results (my nose was upturned and the nostrils were still wide). I wanted to get a revision as soon as possible!!! I had a consultation w/ Dr. Chaudhry and immediately felt at ease. He understood my concerns and told me what he could & could not accomplish. He was super helpful from day 1 and answered all my questions via email. A few weeks before the surgery, we spoke on the phone to go over the goals. On the day of the surgery, we spoke again about the surgical plan. All of which made me feel extremely comfortable & confident in getting a revision w/ him.
Surgical procedures: Dorsal augmentation w/ rib graft, nasal lengthening and alarplasty
After the surgery was complete, I did not feel much pain and the level of discomfort was minimal. There was some swelling during the first few days, but that’s expected w/ any surgery. During recovery, I made sure to keep the bandages clean and sleep w/ my head elevated. The cast stayed on for 5 days.
Day of cast removal: I loved the results and I could honestly say that my nose immediately looked much better!!! Even w/ the swelling, it looked much better than my previous nose. The alarplasty stitches were removed a few days later. Alarplasty does leave scars -- but mine are not too noticeable. I’ve included a few pictures and I’ll post more in the future.
I didn’t have any complications or problems with breathing. I’ve had to see other doctors (for unrelated reasons) and they even complimented me on the results – they wanted to know who did the surgery. He did a great job. My mom (who was against me getting a revision) even liked the results.
If you dislike your nose, I’d definitely recommend doing research about rhinoplasty and consulting w/ Dr. Chaudhry! He is knowledgeable, friendly, and has great bedside manners. He was always available to answer any questions before and after surgery. Most importantly, he delivers amazing results!!! He is really the best and I’d definitely recommend him.
