1 month post op

WORTH IT$4,500
So it has been a little over 1 month ( 5 weeks). The swelling is down considerably. I think Dr. Lee has great technique. My healing has been pretty remarkable. However, there is still a small scar on my left alar and a indent over my bridge from the cast removal which hasn't completely gone away yet. My nose is still a little bulbous and the bridge is still a bit flat at the top. However, its still early. Overall, I am happy that I got the procedure. Most people can't tell that I had any work done. Hopefully, the small things will correct in time.

Day 6 The cast is OFF!!!!

Today, I had a face massage and light treatment to help with swelling and bruising. Also, My external stiches were taken out.
DocFinderKorea picked me up at my hotel and went to Banobagi. First was the massage. It felt good. She took of the cast and was very gentle. Then, she massaged my skin. I have no idea everything that was used, but I do know that they did use Arnica cream.
Next, to the light massage. It felt warm. She went around my face. Although, I really wanted her to focus on my neck because I feel like I look crazy now. Everyone is saying be patient and swelling, but it kinda looks like I had a stroke.
Then I finally saw my nose... granted it has only been 6 days and it still has months of healing left. I do like it. I was nervous because when they took the cast off I had to lines in my nose... I still do. The technician told me it was from the cast and should vanish in two days. I will keep you updated.
Last they took the stitches. Umm, the lady DID NOT use gloves. Which truly creeped me out, after I left and cleaned my nose. I met with Dr. Lee for only 5 min. I had a lot of questions, like was there a lump in my cheek? What about this double chin that I NOW have? Did the fat transfer to my chin help? He told me my face still had some swelling, but looked good.
After, I went to the waiting room and cried a little bit. First, I will admit... YES my healing has been pretty rapid. However, I have put in the work. I walk 5 miles a day, drink a gallon of water, eat clean and since the cookie/ice cream incident I have not TOUCHED sugar and rare with SODIUM. So...yes, I am happy that each day my face is healing. I was still upset because my questions weren't really being answered and my face is not where I need it to be.
I may leave after my next appointment on Friday, but it depends on how my face is looking. This asymmetrical is a bit much for me. Mainly, because my face was pretty symmetrical before. Dr. Lee, worked miracles with my nose...as for my jawline.... well the jury is still out.

Try to be patient, the swelling will take a while to subside. I’m sure after 2-3months you’ll see a difference.
How are you now ?
I’m good. The healing was great. Im not 100% sure about the results.

Gifted Hands for my Nose

I already started a post for my post op surgery of rhinoplasty and acculift, but it would not link to Dr. Lee. So, I made a new post. First, I would like to say I am only 3 days post op and my swelling and bruising is at a minimum. Dr. Hyun-Taek Lee is among the best when it comes to Rhinoplasty. I have been a fan of "Let ??" show and their transformation.

Initially, I was set to go to ID Hospital Korea, but once I met Dr. Lee. I knew he was the Doc for me. He has a kind bedside manner and was patient listened to my questions and came up with a plan specifically for me.  It is still pretty early (3 day post op), but I have feeling in the tip and around the alars of my nose. My breathing is improving each day. Although I had concerns about snoring, as I did not snore before the surgery. Now, I wake myself up because it was so loud. The nurse said it was the swelling and they would do another x-ray before I left to ensure I did not have a deviated septum from the surgery. I can still taste, which was a huge deal for me because I love to delicious food.  I will keep you guys updated. with the results. For more in-depth look of my recovery please go to my other post.
