More Pre Op Photos

I also wanted to post more pre-op photos as I feel the ones I originally posted were either filtered or weren’t really great. Please excuse how crazy I look lol.

I def notice a difference. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Your nose looks great! I can see a difference but you still look like yourself!
Exactly, that's the best part. I definitely wanted it to look natural and just a more defined version of myself.
Thank you for posting. I didn't see a lot of before/after pics of ethnic rhinoplasty on his website. I think I am going to schedule a consult. He is closest to me.
You are welcome, and you should! You're lucky to have him so close lol. He's about 5 hours from me.
thanks for sharing! how has the doc’s followup been since your surgery?
Hey! His follow up has been outstanding! As previously mentioned he checked on me the night of and about 24-48 hrs after my surgery. He also gave my mother his personal number for her to call him anytime if we needed anything during the first week, prior to my cast removal. He then followed up with me about a month in, then 3 months, and I have a 6 month followup in a few months. Dr. Stein and his staff have truly been nothing short of amazing.
Did dr Stein narrow your nasal bones?
Hey, yes he told me he did.

4.5 Month Update

Figured I would show you all how my nose is looking so far. I do like the result so far, but I am hoping that there is still a good amount of de-swelling to go. I know it takes longer for me since I am an ethnic patient with thicker skin. There hasn’t been really much of anything out of the ordinary going on. I still get backed up boogers pretty bad on a daily basis. The tip of my nose is still very hard and if I accidentally hit it, it’s painful. Of course that is expected at only 4.5 months. My breathing is just fine and I don’t really tape as often anymore. Maybe once a week. I do feel like my profile hasn’t changed (I wanted more of a slope profile), but Dr. Stein did the best he could with what I had. I will give another update with more pictures at month 6. I’m not the best at giving all details so if you have any questions PLEASE ask me and I will be more than happy to answer.

Nice very natural looking how it should be in my opinion
Do you think you seen a difference? My nose looks just like yours I have a very thick, wide nose tip. So my concern is definitely the side profile and sliming down my nose and getting rid of my bulbous tip. It's very hard to find doctors who can do what you actually ask for in all areas.
Hello! Yes, there is a huge difference in my nose. At this point the only thing I don't see a difference in is my side profile. I wanted a slope but I didn't get it. However, prior to me going into surgery he mentioned that I may not be able to get the slope I want because of something that had to do with the structure of my nose (I really don't remember exactly what he said). He said I'd have a little slope, but my profile is pretty much exactly the same which is straight. I feel like to get the look I really wanted I need the get my bride lowered, but that wasn't something I was aware of prior to surgery. Do you see a difference in my photos?
Who was your surgeon
Hey! It was Dr. Adam Stein in Raleigh, NC.
Do you have an update few years out

Almost Month Two

Hey guys! Everything is going good so far. My nose is still very swollen so I don’t plan on posting any photos unless I have on makeup until about month 3-4. When I look in the mirror it looks swollen of course but not as bad as when I am on camera! You know how that goes... I will be 2 months post op on 2 November so time is flying by! I don’t have that weird, stinky smell in my nose anymore which is great! However, my nose is ALWAYS itching.. mainly my tip and the inside of my nostrils. Of course everything is still very hard and sensitive, but it’s getting better each day. I will be going to Houston next week and if I take any photos with makeup I will gladly post. Whenever I do I will still post photos of my nose for the months in between so y’all can see progress. If you guys have ANY questions I will be happy to answer in the meantime!

I also wanted to mention that the swelling under my eyes has completely subsided of course, but I still have slightly dark circles. It kind of looks sunken in and I always look tired. Fortunately, I watched another girl's video who experienced the same thing and she said it went away around month 5 for her. So I'm learning patience in key in this type of procedure. :)
Hi, thanks for the update. May I know how much the procedure cost? Wishing all is well during your recovery.
You're very welcome! I haven't been answering the question because their prices increased after the new year so I feel what I paid wouldn't benefit you , but I paid $8,100.. very good, reasonable price for this amazing doctor. Again, consultations are free so you can always schedule one and get a quote.
