Post Op Day 3
The wifi here was out and in the meantime I've been in and out of waking up from the pain meds. The second night has so far been the most uncomfortable, with the deep discomfort under the skin every time I move. Taking a shower is refreshing but also takes a lot of energy from you. It's eat, hydrate, sleep, pain meds, shower, repeat. I took brief measurements on post-op day 1 and pics.
Chest - 39.5in
Waist - 32/33in?
Hips- 43in
Post Op Day 1
Feeling really sore all over and draining a lot. It was pretty uncomfortable sleeping on your stomach, I woke up every few hours because my neck was stiff. Please make sure to bring those funnel urinals when you pee...it's the best thing in the world! I'm in and out from all the meds and will post when I can.
Provider Review
I was looking for a plastic surgeon that had experience in performing BBLs, with great results at a reasonable cost. I found Dr. Salama to be the best overall plastic surgeon for me. He had great bedside manners and answered all of my questions. He knew and understood what type of body I wanted and he was able to do his best to give me that with the body type that I had. So far I'm happy with how how look but still need time to assess the final results. As far as the phone/email responsiveness and wait times, I had to call back multiple times to follow up on my consultations as well as instructions for pre-op appointment when I got to florida. Every time I called, I had to wait anywhere from 5-15 minutes on the phone. The aftercare, I was frustrated and disappointed with the garment fitting. After my BBL, they gave me too small size of arm compression garment that didn't allow for drainage so my arm became swollen. The caregivers had to cut the garment to take it off of me. This was given to me on a Friday so I had no compression for the entire weekend. In addition, they did not have my faja size (XL) in stock so they tried to have me go home in the 2XL instead. If I were to have taken the 2XL they wouldn't change it to XL because we are given 2 garments only. So they sent me home in the original garment without extra foam to compress me. Other than those issues, the recovery house is amazing, I wouldn't have been able to get through this without Grace and Lourdes and the other girls in the house.
