Advanced Facelift/upper Bleph

Dr Mendelsohn and his whole team are wonderful! I had my facelift and upper Bleph on May 25. I'm still healing but loving my results. I had Nicole, Haley and Abby from pre op to post op and they were great! Dr Mendelsohn was brilliant. He is so nice and top notch. I'm about 14 days post op and if I could change anything it would have been to wear my neck strap more through out the day just in case but I'm still holding well. I stayed awake during my entire procedure and did not feel a thing. I talked to everyone so much due to the good meds, probably too much . I highly recommend this procedure. I wish I could have done it sooner. If anyone has any questions please do not hesitate to ask and I'll try to help.

I was able to put some face powder on and I have to try to keep the make up away from all of my incisions for a little bit longer and to make sure that I don’t use any of my make up remover over any of my incisions but it did help my hair still not able to really wash real good so it’s still a little sticky and places I’ve been using dry shampoo to try and make it look like it’s clean. I can’t put any eyeshadow on yet which I’m really looking forward to and I still have a bruise over my right ear but it looks like that both eyes are very even now even though my brow is up a little higher but I didn’t have anything done about that, it’s not that noticeable at least my eyes are even. I actually still do have a couple stitches in the bottom of my right ear that are dissolvable that will fall out on their own. Sun still trying to protect them a little to ensure that everything heals well there. I did wake up this morning with some pain in my cheeks and tightness around my cheeks and ear area. I’ve not had any problems whatsoever with my eyes or my neck.
My eyes and neck been really easy and haven’t had no pain. It’s just my cheeks and ear area still sore and swollen. I will post again at my three week and then again maybe at my one month to two months. I hope this helps someone to find a good doctor and I highly recommend mine.

Here are my postoperative pictures I went through different healing phases. I actually got my bruising a few days later and my swelling went slowly go down a little more each day. For the first week I would use ice and right now I’m working into my second week and I’m using heat because I do still feel very tight and sore which is very normal. And again I do wear my neck strap even though I don’t have to anymore. Because for the first five days I only wore it at night and very little in the day. But I’m very happy with my results . Also I did not get put to sleep during my procedure they used Valium and numbed me really well and I did not feel a thing. I had trouble with anesthesia so it was perfect for me. The procedure only lasted about 2 1/2 hours maybe three. I would tell anyone who is thinking about getting this done to do it. It’s well worth it. I now love my jaw line and Neck again. I’m really looking forward to applying make up, and fixing myself up. 5 stars to Dr Mendelsohn and the whole team.
