I went to my first consultation with Dr Ha after reading good reviews about him on realself. I had emailed him photos of my nose and expressed that I wished to have rhinoplasty. I had a dorsal hump and somewhat bulbous tip. I also had some breathing issues which I wanted addressed. Upon arrival I was welcomed by his friendly staff and I instantly felt at ease. Dr Ha met me with a big smile and warm handshake. He was very easy to talk to and he gave me a realistic summation of what to expect should I go ahead with the rhinoplasty procedure under his care. He took some photos of me which he morphed to show me the intended final result. I was impressed with his professionalism and assured by his confidence. I didn't feel at all pressured to go ahead with the surgery; however I was so comfortable that I booked in my surgery date straight after my appointment with him. His staff helped me with the paperwork and I booked in for a few months time. I had some questions regarding the procedure that I forgot to ask him at the first appointment, he was more than happy to correspond with me via email. I decided to go back in for a second appointment before my surgery to ask a few more questions. Dr Ha was very patient and addressed all my questions and concerns- I was never made to feel that I was wasting his time or being over anxious. The day of the surgery I was very nervous and didn't know what to expect as I had never had a surgical procedure before. Dr Ha met me in the operating theatre and put my mind at ease, he assured me he would take great care of me. I expected to be in pain during the recovery but I didn't experience any at all! Dr Ha came to see me after my surgery and told me that he was very happy with the results. I was taking Endone and Paracetemol during my overnight stay in the hospital, not because I was in pain- but just to make sure that I was comfortable. I couldn't breathe through my nose but it really was a very easy recovery. I had the cast removed at Dr Ha's office just over 1 week after my surgery. He was very gentle and although getting the splints removed was probably the most unpleasant part of the whole experience, it was over quickly and I was able to see my new nose! I was so happy with the results, and now it is 6 months on and I love it even more now that the swelling has gone down. Dr Ha continued to see me for checkups up until last month to make sure my healing was on track. If anyone is considering getting rhinoplasty I highly recommend making an appointment with Dr.Ha. He is professional, friendly and above all very good at what he does. I feel like now I have the nose I was supposed to be born with.
