After having Gastric Sleeve Surgery in Sept 2013 and going on to lose 30kg I was left with a lot of loose abdominal skin. I felt having my abdominoplasty would be finessing the work already done. Although still very swollen 1 week post op I am thrilled with my results and am completely comfortable knowing that my shape will get better with time after seeing everyone else's before and after pics. It is my hope to have a breast lift and and augmentation down the track

Super happy with Dr Anderson's care and work. Lovely lady, very caring and understanding. She took time out to explain everything to my husband to allay his fears about my surgery which was extremely helpful to me. Dr Anderson has a beautiful bedside manner. I look forward to having my breasts done with her down the track

Thank you! I know I still have a long road ahead but am so much more excited and much less fearful now that I have seen others' stories on here :)

You will get there with time:)   I know it feels slow when you are in the middle of recovery.

Wow thats an amazing result, I am going to go see Dr Anderson regarding a FDL as well. I have been to see Dr Marcus Pyragius and I got the impression that he didn't think I'd get a very good result due to my scarring from previous surgeries. Do you mind me asking you how much your operation cost and did your insurer and medicare cover it....many thanks

Hi there dazzee, Thank you for your lovely comment. I'm sure you'll really like Margaret. She's such a lovely and knowledgable lady. My experience with her has been nothing short of fantastic. I have Private Health cover through Medibank Private. Dr Anderson classed my surgery as a medical (not cosmetic) need so it was covered by MP. The Medicare item number is 30177. I paid $4000 to Dr Anderson, $400 to the Anaesthetist and $500 excess to Calvary so all up it was about $5000 out of pocket for me. I wish you all the best and look forward to following your journey :)
