4 days post up

4 DAYS POST OP - Wow the first two days were hell! I was lucky enough to be put first on the list so I didn't have a lot of waiting around in the morning. Surgery went well. Surgeon was super nice and looked after me. Recovery was super average, the first day I threw up twice. But back at home now and pain is completely manageable. I have a binder and a breast support for my breast lift and at the moment it's just super tight. I sleep with about 6 pillows and 2 pillows under my knees. I'm walking around, going to the bathroom on my own and feeling generally okay. I'm actually super excited to be in bed for the next few days just taking it easy. I want to rest up as much as possible so my recovery is short and sweet.
Feeling human today which I'm so thankful for. My bf is probably ready to strangle me because I can't really get up every single time I need/want something. Oh well!
From the front you can see I'm sans-flap which is SO INCREDIBLE .I'm extremely swollen around my belly button and have no feeling around there. My breasts don't hurt at all, my surgeon said he really only took skin and didn't remove much fat at all. They're just perkier.
Can't wait to see the full results in 10 weeks when swelling is manageable!

I have been overweight for most of my life. In...

I have been overweight for most of my life. In October of 2014 I started my 'weight loss journey' and through dieting and weights at the gym I lost 30kg within six months and 10kgs in the 6 months afterwards. I reached 68kg in 2015, however, I was left with lots of saggy skin and became severely depressed as I didn't expect my body to still look saggy. Over the last two years I have regained 10kg but have decided to schedule in a tummy tuck and breast augmentation to strengthen my abdominal muscles and remove the extra skin around my stomach.
My chest is saggy and horribly deflated from losing the weight that I have done. I'm 5'7 and almost all the women in my family are 'solid' builds and retain most weight around their stomachs. I currently maintain healthy eating and exercise 3-5 times a week depending on my discipline and need for cardio.
I have booked with in Dr Tony Moore, surgeon at Adelaide Plastic Surgery. He has been lovely in every consultation I have had. Although I read 2-3 negative reviews about it, I think the positives far outweigh the negatives.
Current measurements -
Tummy fully extended through breathing out:
Tape around to belly button 108cm
Thighs 63cm
Chest 104cm
Waist 91cm
My measurements have been pretty steady most of this year. However, I have recently lot 2kg in the last 2 months ( I lose weight sooooo much slower now ).
I will update with more photographs of during and post surgery. Super duper nervous but so excited to be having it!

Amazing! I had an abdominoplasty and bilateral breast reduction (breast lift) on November 21, 2017 and omgosh, I AM SO HAPPY. His bedside manner is lovely. I was very hesitant to choose a surgeon as this is such a big thing for me to do but I couldn't be happier. His personal assistant Julie has answered any and every question I've had. He's been friendly, welcoming and really straight to the point with the whole thing. I had my first consult in May and he said I wasn't in the right headspace to have the procedure - I didn't love my body for what it was and I think at that point in time surgery wasn't for me. But September after a few months of readjusting my headspace I had another consult with him and we talked about results, the procedure and what I can expect and I think it's honestly the best decision I ever made.
