I decided to write this review to document my entire CO2 journey. Like many of you reading this, I was terrified to undergo the procedure, but the conditions that it addresses were exactly what I was looking to fix. I found a very reputable doctor and had the procedure done yesterday after waiting nine months for an appointment. I'm going to document every day with pictures and details on what the experience is like. The procedure itself wasn't too bad. The doctor gave me Valium and then a shot of Demerol and they numbed my eyes before they put the metal shields in. I was very nervous about the metal shields as putting any type of object inside your eye, and keeping it there for an hour sounds torturous. To Be honest, that was the least painful of the entire procedure. They use nerve blocks like at the dentist all over my face, so I only felt the laser when it went off of the areas that were treated with the block. I've had a lighter CO2 done in the past, and it hurt much more than this because they didn't use all the medication's. When I got home last night from the procedure, my face was on fire like something I've never felt before. For two hours straight I had ice on it and then all the sudden it just went away. I slept through the night even with the ointment all over my face and woke up pretty swollen. Pain is minimal, but washing the face is extremely annoying. My face is extremely swollen, but I'm fine to drive my kids around today. Please comment if you have any questions because I wish somebody would've done this and I would've known more before I did the procedure.

Day 2

Woke up super swollen and yes your face does smell bad! I had such severe swelling this morning that my eye seemed to have a blister in the corner but it has improved alot throughout the day. It's uncomfortable but it looks much worse than it feels: starting to itch and that's gonna be rough since you can't touch your face

Day 5

I made it to day 5 and I feel so much better actually went to Costco. Most of the dead skin is off just waiting for the swelling to go down so I can see the real results. Recovery wasn't as bad as some reviews I read. Just plan on being home 6 days at least
