Spironolactone 100mg experience

I have been acne free for almost 1 year. My skin has significantly improved sense being on spironolactone Daily for almost two years but of course I'm left with bad scarring. I know it could be worse but I want to help improve the appearance without surgery as I am really scared that I will be worse off post surgery.

It will be two years in July sense being on Spironolactone. It took about 6 months for it start working and before it started working it made my skin break out like crazy. It was terrible. Although my skin is way better now and I don’t suffer from acne, I am left with so many scars on my cheeks. I would like to find treatments that isn’t surgery as I am scared end up worse then pre surgery

I haven’t been on here in a while as my life became busy and my skin has become stable. I don’t struggle with acne / pustules/ inflamed but I do still have Black heads that stick around under my skin for months. My nose is full of clogged pores and around my mouth too.


I still have scarring that I treat with daily sunscreen and adapalene.03 but I can not afford any additional treatment such as microneedling as I’m also so nervous that it would make things worse. I’m not sure. Here are some photos that highlight my scars.
