Acne scar subcision

Acne scar subcision
WORTH IT$500
I was super nervous about getting this procedure done and researched it for months before I decided on Peter. Me and my mother drove from Las Vegas to San Diego for me to get it done. In the waiting room I felt like I was going to throw up from all the nervousness. They set me up in the room and when the doctor came in I felt completely at ease. He’s very detail oriented and likes to explain everything that he’s doing when he’s doing it.
We had light conversation throughout my whole procedure and he was very cognitive on whether or not I was feeling any pain or any discomfort. He numbed me very very well so I didn’t feel anything and took his time with the procedure. I appreciate his attention to detail and how open and communicative he was.
I have two more sessions with him and I’m going to do a deep chemical peel and then I feel like I’ll be truly at where I want to be as far as my skin texture. I suffered from cystic acne and regular acne for years and had horrible texture and scars.
You are extremely swollen and puffy for the first 48 hours. But I used ice packs constantly and I take Arnica supplements to help with the swelling. I would say by day five almost all the swelling was gone but I had a blackeye. It took nine days for the black guy to be completely gone but I was able to cover it up with make up. Overall an amazing experience I have another treatment scheduled in three weeks and I’ll post updates!

You story reminds me so much of mine! I have not been able to find the words yet to put together into sentences that will appropriately and fairly describe the experience I had with Dr. Rullan and team! But From the moment I got there I knew that I had finally made it in destination in terms of treatment for my acne scars. And trust me I have been like all up and down the coast it seems like searching high and low for someone, anyone who truly and sincerely knows not only what he’s doing but genuinely has your best in interest at heart when it comes to each and every individual and their skin and unique journey dealing with acne scars. And Dr. Rullan has a heart of gold! The moment I met Dr.Rullan I was like..... (big sigh of relief) this is it. I’ll never forget that moment in his office I really won’t.... and that feeling of finally knowing like this is it. Anyone who has been thru it emotionally with their skin knows what I mean...Having faith in the journey itself is HUGE. And it took me most of my 20’s to figure this out...if your expectationsand mind set are not in a positive place, your outcomes and results are always going to be skewed, and it is important to understand acne scars are NOT a one stop shop and your done. They’re complex, they’re difficult to treat, and they require a specific skill set that truly understands the skin and it’s infrastructure. Dr Rullan is the man to see. He is now my only dermatologist... I claim no others lol and yes I am willing to travel to see him and matter of fact planning another trip hopefully before my birthday! Just like you I drove (by myself) from northern Ca, Bay Area which is about a 7 hour drive and to be honest I would do it again In s heart beat and plan on it! I am mixed raced and very light complexion and have been dealing with all of my scars for almost 15 years.... I will be 30 In April. He also suggested subcision for me and I can honestly tell you I was terrified more so emotionally more than anything else to to anything more To my skin.... but I knew that he was my only hope at achieving normalcy to my skin. Best decision I’ve honesty ever made in my life. I can truthfully attest to your journey and testimony and I’m so happy you found him! And just had to share my journey since yours so much reminds me of myself and mine! You even look like you could be related to me! lol so your journey once I read it kind of hit a soft spot. I just wanted to reassure you, not that I think you need it... but you are truly in the BEST hands! Good luck with your journey and please keep posting your updates as they come! Your skin looks absolutely gorgeous! Could also please describe which peel he suggested to you? Thank you!

I’m 4 weeks out now and I’m healing well all though at times I feel like maybe my scars look a little worse. When I wake up in the morning they are totally gone but throughout the day they start to reappear and by the evening they look pretty bad. I’m hoping with time they will get a lot better. I will probably go back and try t least one more session before I give up.
