How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

I stopped wearing my retainer

Can you imagine, I almost ruined this journey to a great smile. After getting off my braces, I stopped wearing my retainers, I had retainers on both the lower and upper teeth. What happened to me was that i got a permanent retainer initially after I removed my braces, later the thin wire that serves as a retainer on the lower teeth on the back of my teeth removed and kept disturbing to the extent of unable to eat successfully, I had to remove it eventually and I got a removable retainer, but it came as a bad deal, I stopped wearing my retainer for months, then the close spaces on my lower teeth start to open again, now I'm so guilty. Way forward, I have to visit my ortho doctor again for advices and treatment because I don't want it to get it all worse, see pictures of my teeth below

Made the best decision of my life

I'm happy I made the right of getting a braces finally, it's really worth it, but mind you... you need some kind of determination... all is going well, it's now 1 year and six months
