I am 25 years old and as far as I can remember Ive had large breasts. I started wearing a bra in 3rd grade and was always teased about it. I believe in middle school I was already a full C. I was always very skinny and always looked top heavy. When I was 19 I gained 50 pounds and was very over wight (204 pounds) so in 2013 I lost all the weight and was at my ideal weight of 150 pounds. From losing all that weight my breast fell very low. I have no volume in them and now I am a 36H, I cannot even wear a real bra because it hurts my neck and back way too much. All I wear are Victoria Secret bras with tight tank tops over them to shrink and suck them down as much as possible, Ive hated my breasts as long as I can remember. I have extreme neck and back pain with headaches almost everyday. So 3 years ago I started looking into this Surgery!

So on December 19th, 2014 I went to a consultation with Dr. Horvath, and have been doing countless hours of research, watching videos, and reading everyone else's stories which help me out so much! My insurance was submitted and I hope to hear back in the beginning of January 2015 if I am approved or not, but either way I will be going forward with this surgery and hoping I will be getting in done on January 20th.

The only thing that has held me back from going through with it all these years is my extreme crippling fear of General Anesthesia, I think it is the fear of something going wrong while under and not waking up! Right now I am around 185-190lb's and 5ft 5"I know the heavier you are the more chances you have of a complication so I am going to work hard to get to 170 before surgery Also having some complication afterwards that for some reason cannot be treated and everything I went through would have been for nothing.

Any Advice from anyone would be so nice! It always puts my mind a little bit at ease when I read your experiences! I will be updating this when and If I get approved!!!!!!! Fingers Crossed!

This is my exact story. I agree. Go as hard as you can before surgery because you will need to not exercise the same way in order to heal quickly. Also if a person uses food the recover is harder because you can't just run it off and the emotional aspect will push you to munch. Check my profile. Keep in touch. Ask me anything.

wow we do have similar stories! and yea i know especially with this holiday season it's hard to stay on track but I need to make myself healthier before going under and to look better after since it will be very different to see myself with a small chest since I never have before! Thank you!

Had to take all my nude pictures off! a [RS bleep] site is stealing everyones pictures!

LLH1989

Im not sure how else to tell everyone but the pornsite called hamster.com is taking everyones nude pictures and uploading them, it happened to me and saw at least 50 other accounts on here as well! if you go onto the site and go into sure, make sure you are under pictures first and type in "pre reduction" "close up" "huge [RS bleep]" "your breast size" there is a good change you will find yourself, I am very sad about this because I love this site and I love that i can read everyones stories and see pictures! I hope most of you see this and if you do please pass it around, I'm glad it was brought to my attention the only thing is i do not know how to get these pictures to be taken off this [RS bleep] website if anyone knows how to do it please let me know!

Your nude pictures are still on this site??
January 29, 2015
I've taken all my pictures off. I checked out the website you mentioned and there are loads of pictures there, even ones of women marked up for surgery. Thank goodness I saw your post. Shocking!
January 29, 2015
I know right! I emailed the guy directly and told him I would take it to the authorities and he took me down! Such creeps in the world it is horrible!
January 29, 2015
I've updated my profile to warn others of this but my update is not allowed in te newsreel. Seems like real self don't want women to know about their pics being used as [RS bleep]. Or maybe it's because the sites belong to the same group...your naked pics are still here for anyone to view. I would remove if I were you..

Hi Lovedogs,

Our Engineering & Safety teams are working on taking action against the [RS bleep] website. RealSelf is not affiliated with them and we would never, ever share your pics with anyone, let alone a [RS bleep] site!

To clarify your other point, all review updates go into the newsfeed. As long as people are following your review, they will see your updates.

I hope this is helpful,
--Sharon

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

RealSelf is a safe place for community members to share their personal experiences. We take seriously our role in protecting this space and we do not tolerate exploitation or invasion of our community members' privacy.

RealSelf's Engineering & Safety teams are working on getting these images removed and taking action against the offending website.

We have also recently introduced changes to help protect photos from prying eyes. Site registration is now required before a visitor can view community photos (similar to Facebook). This helps to build a metaphorical wall around your review and keep your photos safe.

However, the Internet is a public space. There is no measure we can take to 100% assure you that only legitimate consumers are viewing your photos. The best defense is to follow these safety tips when adding photos to your review:

 • Crop out your face, tattoos, and other identifying features
 • Stay anonymous - Never share your real name, address, phone number or email address in a public space
 • Keep it real - Discuss any concerns about sharing photos with a trusted friend or family member. We all have different levels of comfort with our bodies and there isn't one decision that fits everyone.

As always, we welcome your feedback, suggestions and questions. PleaseĀ get in touch or reach out to a community manager if you need anything.

got approved by insurance surgery is february 3rd!

LLH1989
So i was just approved today and the doctors office said I don't need a pre-opp appointment and that I could have one only if I wanted, is this normal? They did say that they would be sending me a packet with all the info I would need, guess I just thought I would need blood work or something. So right now I am just freaking out excited / completely terrified how did you all keep your nerves in check, I am mostly worried about being put to sleep. so any info that anyone has about what sort of things to buy before the surgery or any tips on how to not freak out everyday would be so helpful!!

I'm 12 days post-op and I can reassure you that the general anesthesia was not a big deal. I would ask for a pre-op appointment if you feel nervous. You should be able to ask all the questions you have. But the pre-op for me did not need bloodwork done. I think if you're only 40 you have to have a mammogram but you won't need that!
January 15, 2015
The pre-op was helpful for me because I had millions of questions and I was anxious too. The anxiety is normal, and you will have new anxiety once the surgery is done ("am I healing right? Is that supposed to look like that?? Are they too big/small?" haha). The anesthesia is no big deal. You might be sick when you wake up, or you might not. Either way, the day of the surgery sucks, but each day it will get better (and you'll have smaller boobs!!!). Good luck!
February 1, 2015
Thats funny because I thought I would need one too and I talked to the office yesterday and they said no. I did email the office because I had some questions about lifting and when I could go back to work. Good luck!

I was super freaked out about the anesthesia. I share your pain there. I had to undergo for a bunionectomy. They gave me a drip, wheeled me into a room, gave me another sedative and to tell you...I just fell asleep and was out. I had no time to freak out. I never saw the anesthesiologist put a mask on me or anything else. You just calmly fall asleep. When I woke up I was startled and kinda jumped up gasping for air. I had been in a car accident when I was younger and got knocked out. When I came to, a giant car was on top of me. It scared me that I could have died. It freaked me out big time so I have dreaded going under. Well I did it and now I am no longer afraid. You will see. Now I cant wait to get approved for BR surgery. I have not pursued it because I was afraid to go under. Until now. Good Luck with your surgery!

Hi. I am 55 yrs. old and a little over a year ago I had triple by-pass surgery. I also have diabetes. I am also overweight. I am only 5'1" and weighed 180 pounds when I had my breast reduction December 3rd of last year. It's been 2 months and I am so much happier. My breasts were a DD and now I am a C cup! I love it! So if someone with my health background could go through it fine then you certainly can! Good luck and enjoy the new you!
