I’m still checking my waistline running to mirror when I take off my garment LOL..some days I look better than others. I am VRY aware what I’m putting in my mouth so I won’t ruin my investment. I’ve lost about 8 pounds so far..by increasing my water..eating right..and I’ll start exercising really soon. I’m bruised a little still but no 2 piece swim suit until later this year ????I keep my garments on almost 24/7..some days I wear my waist trainer and ab board. I keep in that some nights too. My flanks still itch but not as bad as before. Abs feel hard on top and some at flanks but I’m hoping that’s my 6 pack LOL. I’m very happy though with my results and I’m continuously being reminded that this isn’t the finished product yet..so WOW!

You look great!! I just had mine done 6/6 and I’m seeing the same wrinkles in my abdomen as yours.. I’m hoping they go away.. do you have updated pics.

Hi! I’ll post more very soon. The wrinkles do go away. So that’s a plus. I had a deep crease above/below my navel after I takeoff my garment and after a while it goes away. Stay in your garment! It really helps.

My stomach and flanks are swollen one still and bruised. I’m no longe sore but I still wear my garment daily. I sometimes get sick of it and sleep without it but the next morning I’m more swollen. I’ve noticed that draw string leaves a fold in my waist but after I loosen it and the fold goes away and I sit a lot so that creates a crease in my garment too so I adjust it and that fixes it. I’m in a xl garment now and I want my waist smaller so I’m going to go down to large/medium. So far so good. I’m receiving compliments! I do have a few scars from the cannula so I’m letting them heal and using medera. I’m starting vitamin e and hopefully no marks will be left behind. Any suggestions?

Keep the garment on. I hated it as well, but you will be happy you wore it later. I didn’t use anything on my skin. I did use some coconut oil on my flanks because at some point the skin will start to peel. Its going to be dry from the garment. Take it easy and remember patience is key

Did they advise you to purchase a smaller garment prior to procedure? I was told I would be put in a medium, and to go ahead and get 2 smalls!

My color actually is NOT fully back yet. It was perhaps 3 shades darker than my normal color. It's better than it was but it's probably about 80% back to normal, 20% to go.

No, I was put into one at the surgery center. I believe it was a medium. It was very tight immediately after the surgery. I tore up my skin on my finger pulling the zipper up it was sooooo tight. I never bought anything. 1 garment, 1 size. It was fine

i bought 2 smalls and it was kinda easy to get into, if i can get into it relatively easy i should get a xs

Thanks so much..I’m still swollen and trying hard to be patient! I keep my garment on but today I wore abdominal board and a flexee too that’s snug like compression. It was good but not as tight as my garment..I’ve been in if 24/7..taking it off an hour or so when I get home from work. YOU LOOK REALLY GOOD! I can’t wait until my swelling is all gone..today is 3 weeks. Thanks again! How did you change your eating to prevent weight gain?

I joined Nutrisystem about 6 weeks before my procedure. I lost 10lbs before I had my surgery. It helped me. Today I'm down 17lbs maybe. They took 5lbs off me. So the drastic pics include a 10lbs pre weight loss. But now I'm just used to eating less, cut out most of the junk and just trying to get my money's worth. I really feel like you HAVE to make a change in your diet before and after surgery. I'm still dieting. Now I have swollen hips and flanks still, he said that would be normal and could last for up to a year.... but I'm not eating any junk at all
And if I do, it's VERY minimal. Like 1 cookie, or 1 glass of wine.. nothing drastic

I totally understand and yes it’s lifestyle change if you want the weight to stay off..we paid too much money or these bodies to mess em up! My navel area seems to crease a little when I tk my garment off..I hope it smoothes out..my abs are still swollen and my flanks as well. I can see my curves when I take my garment off :0) I have so much bruising on my abs. An my skin itches like crazy!!!! Thanks for sharing! Keep it touch baddie!!!

I still have swelling or a thick feeling in my abdomen, is this normal 4 wks post op? And I can’t say I’ve been monitoring my caloric intake..I just feel like I’m not looking how I wanted without my garment on..still smaller than presurgery but

SO I am pissed that I wrote you an entire novel and I wasn't signed in and lost it all. Ugh. Basically what I said was that you have to stop looking at these pics and posts and heal on your own time. We are all different and heal at different rates. The hard or thick feelings you feel are fat deposits. My Dr told me that they would go away eventually. I had several along my flanks and they're are some that are still present. I had one massage that hurt like hell and didn't seem to do much. I wore that garment and took it off after the Dr said so. 6 weeks after my procedure. Then I wore it at night for a few days, then I transitioned into my spanks which I am still wearing.
I say this to say that yes, there are hard spots, thick feeling etc that will be there during the healing process. They should dissolve at some point. But also to say that you have to worry about yourself. I knew going in that my FINAL result would take 4-5 months to see. So with that in mind, I scheduled it in time for my wedding. Now everyday to I look like I did at week 3, no I do not. Some days I wake up bloated. Maybe I had too much salt the day before, maybe I moved around too much that day and I am swollen. But di I look better than I did in June 2017, absolutely yes. SO I am saying that you have to be patient. I said that before and I I've seen other women on here say that. Lipo is a sculpting tool, for reshaping. Not weight loss. That is why I emphasize so much on eating right and proper nutrition. I lost weight and continue to do so. Its critical that you watch what you put in. My Dr was the BEST. He loved my results, but no way did he take 18 lbs of fat off my body during lipo. He took like 5, maybe 6lbs. So the rest is all me and my diet. People wouldn't know that unless they read my entire profile.
So I'm saying to you that I have those same hard knots on my side and in my stomach. I also know that when I look in a full length mirror, you can tell where those spots are because they are a little darker than the rest of my skin tone. There were larger ones that dissolved and there have been new ones that appeared within the last month or so. I just have to wait and be patient like the Dr. said and believe that they will fade away. There re days I feel slim and good and other days not so much. I just know that I can not look at this site and compare myself to every other woman on here. June 12th is my 3 month mark. I know that body has changed a lot since the day of the surgery, but I also know that I can not compare it to other folks. I just want you to know that you HAVE to be patient and know that at week 4 you have MANY months to go to see what you will finally look like. I am still swollen and hard on my sides and feel tingling pain in my back and sides when I get out of bed, this may take a year to go away. SO know that at week 4----nothing you see is in its final stages. Be patient and hang in there sis, you'll get there. Promise.

Girlllllll I SO needed this today. I just had a picture in my head of what I want to see and I’m not exactly seeing it..well I do when I keep my garment on all day and night..and sis you’re so right I am and have been comparing myself to the results of overs and thinking that I should’ve gone to another MD but that’s not fair bc I’m still in the early stage. I’m being more conscious of what’s going in and what it will do to my results. I even downloaded the app to monitor my caloric intake. Again, thank you so much! I’ll be in touch.

No problem it literally is a WHOLE process. I'm patient and just going to wait until like July/August before I get paranoid. Until then, be encouraged. Keep the faith and focus on the positive. You'll be fine. You were fine before, now you'll be extra fine. Patience. Every situation is like a finger print. No 2 are alike.
