yikes!! Abbotsford, BC

I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. I feel so great that its ridiculous. I am up and about and coping so well with whatever pain I have. Sleep last night was the pits but because of menopause its already been like that for awhile...so its nothing unusual. All in all I am so impressed with this journey so far...knocking on wood though and wondering if its the calm before the storm!!

It still hasn't sunk in.....today was my last day of work until after recovery. Whistler this weekend and surgery on Tuesday morning. Why do I feel so detached from the entire situation?! ......no doubt my Monday night it will feel like the night before Christmas and waiting for Santa Clause!

One week today till surgery.....I cannot believe how calm I am. Busy at work with tying up some loose ends and making sure that I have anticipated and circumvented any foreseeable crisis. Of course I expect something will inevitably slip through....c èst la vie! Thursday is my last work day and then its time to just relax and get some pampering done. Heading to Whistler for the weekend for one last kick at the can for the next foreseeable future! Had all my blood work and ECG yesterday.....wow.....sure left a bruise where she took the blood....NOT a good omen! Doctor gave me ARNICA...supposed to start taking it a few days before surgery and supposed to help with bruising and inflammation....I will keep you posted on that!
