A-Cup Breast Lift: a lift without implants
ORIGINAL POST
A Cup Breast Lift
MaryV123June 4, 2020
WORTH IT$7,100
I have A cup breasts and after nursing my 3 children they have stretched and sagged. I have gone back and forth for years about getting implants. I had a consultation and given my goals and concerns, my surgeon recommended a lift without implants. This should increase upper pole and reduce the size of my areolas to give me a more youthful look while staying natural. I'm nervous. But I feel like I'm in good hands with my surgeon. I trust him.

Pre-Op went well- getting nervous!
MaryV123June 5, 2020
The preop was done over the phone (due to COVID-19) and it went well. I read over the preop packet and I’m getting more and more nervous about anesthesia, blot clots, dying on the table etc. All of those things they have to mention in the packet just freak me out even though I know they aren’t likely. I’m also nervous about scarring. I will be getting an anchor (inverted T) incision. I asked about other incision options but Dr. Rudderman is confident I’ll get the best results with the inverted T. I am staying calm by thinking about how much better I’ll look when it’s done!

When is your surgery? You are wise to avoid implants. I just had my implants removed after 24 years and an unconventional lift procedure. I should have only had the lift back then but they weren't as good for preserving breast function as they are today. I let myself be talked into implants that left me way too big, uncomfortable, and super self conscious for 24 years. I'm glad to have the implants out and recommend just getting a lift to everyone. Best wishes to you. Keep us posted as you go through your journey.

My surgery is on Tuesday! Just a few days away. My breasts are small so I originally wanted implants (I still kind of wan them!!!) but I was concerned about working out-- push ups and planks are important to me!! So I am lifting my tiny boobies up and hoping that helps!

You'll probably love them once they are all healed but if you don't you can probably get a fat transfer. Doctors are getting pretty good at that these days. A lot of girls health really declines after getting implants and there is often future surgeries involved. I think you are smart to start with the lift and see what you think. Best wishes for an easy surgery and recovery. I recommend getting a neck pillow and have lots of pillows to keep you propped up in your bed. Button or zip front tops really help too. :)

Yes that's the plan!!! Fat transfer in 6 months if I'm not fully happy with just the lift. I don't want to get breast implant illness!

Surgery is tomorrow! Before Pics!
MaryV123June 8, 2020
Surgery is tomorrow and I am SO NERVOUS! I’m preparing the house, making meals for myself for recovery, and trying to keep calm. I’m so excited! I’m so scared! My A cup breasts are so low and flat. They did a great job feeding my children and for that I am grateful. But it’s time to lift them! Hoping the lift gives me more upper pole fullness even though I have very little fat in my breasts. I may do a fat transfer or implants in the future if the lift doesn’t give me enough upper pole.

It went well! I haven't seen them yet! I'm all wrapped up but tomorrow I'll go in for my post-op and they'll change the gauze and bra and I'll get a little peek! I'll definitely post more pics! Are you seeing Dr. Rudderman also? Who is your surgeon? Best of luck with your surgery next month!!!
