I cant tell if I have torn my internal sutures. I had a TT 6 days ago.I have been taking many laxatives, stool softners and enemas in the last few days in order to have a bowel movement. I finally had one and my abdomen was having uncontrollable contractions at the time, about 9 all together, that were VERY painful. I was wearing a very tight gurdle and pressing firmly on my abdomen in order not to have the muscles contract. Now I am having really bad pain in the same spot that I felt the burning. It runs vertically on the right side of my navel aboutn 4 inches in all. How could I tell if I tore the suture? What would need to be done to correct it if infact I did tear it?How can you tell if you tore internal sutures?

He is a great suregon. I have had other procedures with him. I am undecided because I have not seen the results.
