Pros: Already see a difference even with the swelling
Cons: Some discomfort (like a cold--having to breath through my mouth; no taste; dry mouth); long wait to see final resultsI've always wanted to get rhinoplasty. I thought my nose was too wide, bulbous, long.When I had the cast removed a week ago I was unhappy with how perky my nose looked, since my surgeon and I discussed that I would not have a perky nose. We agreed it would look like my old nose, but taken down a notch. But I thought it looked sooo different. However, now that I'm getting used to seeing it in the mirror, and have compared it with my old nose in photos, I am really pleased with the results; even with the remaining swelling at the tip.Apparently, it can take a year or more for the swelling to subside. Now I hope it doesn't shrink too much!
