28 Years Old, Active FX & Deep FX for Eyelids, Acne Damage and Pores

I had my boyfriend drive me to Walgreens to purchase a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and after washing my face with Cetaphil, I daubed at the site with a mixture of hydro peroxide and water, rinsed my eyes out with saline solution, reapplied the vaseline and went to bed without the smell.I woke up today, Day 4, and my eyes were glued shut with snot but my face overall looked a little better. Still slightly swollen cheeks and some tingly sensation. Each time after I wash my face I reapply the hydro peroxide, now undiluted, and so far the smell is gone. My eyes still look a little sunburned--brown, not red--but not noticeably swollen. The skin is nice and taut, but I assume that this is due to still-present swelling. I think I wouldn't even need to put any make-up on my eyes to go out. However, my cheeks are still mottled red with brown flaky patches at the edges.So far, it does not look like anything unusual is happening: the skin between the red areas is a normal color, no veins and no pigmentation or hypopigmentation from what I can see, so I'm breathing a sigh of relief right now but of course, I'm still only half-way to being recovered. Some reddish pin-points in places, but no visible capillaries. I have to get on a plane on Monday and I actually think by then I'll be ok to appear in public.The thing I'm most concerned about is the conjunctivitis. I believe I got this from wearing contacts the day after the surgery when my eyes were so swollen. Also, I have a history of viral conjunctivitis and I had just gotten over a cold, so it's not that alarming for me, but to others I'd recommend against wearing contacts the first day after receiving laser treatments on the eyes.

I'm a 28 year old, white female with enlarged pores and other acne damage on my cheeks and slightly droopy eyelids that made me look old for my age.My Dr. administered DeepFX to my eyes and ActiveFX to patches on my cheeks on June 30th. I was given a vicodin and numbing cream and metal caps were put on my eyes. The procedure was painful but bearable and afterward I experienced no pain and only a mild hot sensation rather like a bad sunburn that soon subsided. almost as soon as I got home, I noticed huge splotches of dark brown pigmentation--the result, I assume, of deep freckles rising to the surface in a similar fashion to what happens right after an IPL treatment. There was some seeping of blood on my eyelids. I slept easily and without pain.Day 1: My eyes were swollen, but not even as bad as the swelling a recent allergic reaction gave me. My cheeks were swollen. All areas were a very bright red, maybe some of it due to broken capillaries. There was some discharge (white ) in my eyes and a prominent, angry bruise right along the lash-line of my left eye. Itchy as patches of brown skin formed. I put on my contacts because I could not wear glasses, even if I had any. Probably a mistake.Day 2: Washed my face three times during the day with just cool water, using gauze and then cotton balls to delicately remove old biatine. Switched to vaseline at the end of the day because I don't like the biatine and my doctor said that vaseline was fine as a subsitute. All swelling was down, but my eyes were red throughout the day. A lot of itching from the appearance of brown skin around the edges. The skin is still an angry red but there are no scabs, there's no bleeding or pus anywhere except my eyeballs and the skin is only slightly hot to the touch. By the end of the day I have a slight fever (my boyfriend thinks) and I notice a slight smell--the kind of smell that I remember from my childhood that might accompany pulling off an old bandage from a skinned knee, a smell I'd associate with mild infection, but since my eyes were obviously a little infected and the treated areas of my face looked and felt fine, I just assumed it was my eyes. I assumed that wearing contact lenses while my eyelids were so swollen resulted in an infection in the eyes themselves so...Day 3 (today): I did not wear contacts most of the day in hopes of not exasperating my eye infection. Showered, but didn't get my face wet. Rinsed my face off in cool water because the skin is still raw in places under brown coating. I tried to remove the vaseline with cotton balls and ended up stripping off some of the very thin brown coating, revealing a raw red surface, but no blood or pus or even oozing. The holes are closed up, revealing a splotchy surface of red alternating with regular flesh color--new skin, I presume. My eyelids are hardly swollen at all, but still red and the skin between eyes and nose is red and puffy still and rough with the spots. No change in the angry red color of all affected areas and I'm starting to panic that the discoloration will be long-lasting. My cheeks are still puffy.The ActiveFX seems to be much harder to recover from than the Deep--or at least the surface is in a much uglier mess than my eyes. My eyes are red and leaking green discharge, basically I have full blown conjunctivitis and I'm concerned that this is giving me a slight fever.I fly out to Hong Kong in three days and they zap you in the neck with a temperature gauge and if you have the slightest fever, they quarantine you for a week. Great! I just realized that the slight infected smell is coming from my cheeks and I can't reach my doctor right now--perhaps not for the whole weekend--so I just want to know: is it safe to wash my face with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water? I'm concerned about possible scarring as a result of infection, but right now, aside from the persistent redness, everything looks the way my doctor described it.
