When I smile it comes through in my eyes. They "sparkle" as many had commented. For a long time the compliments stopped and I had to admit that there was a lot of excess skin in my eyelids.
Being a frugal woman I was determined not to do anything but.... having going for a consultation to get my earlobes repaired and hearing Dr. Ackerman's "opinion" on the state of my eyes I was intrigued. Skeptical yet encouraged I met with Dr. Ackerman on several occasions to fully understand his vision of what was going on with my eyes.
Long story short, he recommended a forehead lift and upper eyelid tuck to rejuvenation the twinkle. The ears? Well, if I decided to go with his recommendations he would include those free.
Incredibly scared I decided to follow Dr. Ackerman's advice. I recall the morning of the surgery. I actually walked to his clinic a couple miles from my home just to "talk it out". I ended up in the surgical center deciding "what the heck".
The first week post surgery I was scared as it seemed like I had forever lost control of my upper face functions! No squinting when I smiled, my forehead ached when I tried to raise my brows. Ugh! Second week, better. Third, on the upswing. Now 10 weeks post surgery I couldn't be happier with my decision. In fact, on a recent bus trip to Temecula I received numerous compliments on how my eyes twinkled.
Thanks Dr. Ackerman! Your judgement about what I would benefit from paired with the affordable cost of the procedures was well worth it. YOU ARE THE BEST!
