They Absolute Worst Experience Ever

So I should have listened to the reviews. Spectrum is the worst practice ever. Their post op procedures for out of state patients is horrible. Trying to get the Post Op department on the phone is a nightmare. Apparently the sutures that DR. Ortega used my body is rejecting causing my incisions to open. I had two tunneling wounds in the middle that has healed but now I have a open wound on my side that the sutures are sticking out. I sent the post op department an email and they suggested I come all the way back down to Miami for the doctor to look at it. They said they don’t do virtual appointments which is crazy to me. Now I am trying to get them the send me a date to confirm and they won’t answer my emails. I wish I had never went to spectrum.

Hi. I’m so sorry for what you’re going thru. I just write Dr. O on insta but won’t consider an appointment due to your & other reviews. Can you update if you got an appointment? Did your wound close?

Yes I went down July 12 for my follow up. Needless to say I was not impressed yet again. My wounds did finally close they said my body was rejecting the sutures. My next procedure will be done in Baltimore at MIA Aesthetics.

Really Unprofessional Practice

Danielle96205

Let me start off by saying I love my results so far. I am one week post op and I am still swelling but I have a flat tummy now and hopefully when the swelling goes down it will look great. Now the bad side to the process. The staff of spectrum is not what you would expect on IG. They play around too much, they are very loud, and schedule you and make you wait. I was scheduled for my surgery at 11 and the doctor didn’t come in until about 1. Then after my surgery they rushed me out the door so fast it was crazy. For my last post op appointment a week later I waited another hour before I was seen. Needless to say I won’t be coming back to Spectrum unless Dr.Ortega switched practices to a more professional place. Like they say your pay for what you get. Smh.

Surgery Completed

Danielle96205
My surgery was done two days ago and boy can I tell you the pain the first day is something serious. I arrived at Spectrum at 10:45 cause my surgery was supposed to be at 11:00 . Well needless to say I didn’t get on the table until 2pm. Once again Dr. Ortega is amazing but the staff needs more trading in customer service and hospitality. As soon as I woke up they were scooting me out the door. Due to the fact I have MD insurance I had to come out the pocket for my meds. I also didn’t know I had to take a shot everyday for the next 14 days. My tummy is so swollen. I’m starting to thing majority of the pic I seen on IG have been edited and contoured. But I do have less stretch marks and I can’t wait until the swelling goes down

Curious now that is been awhile, how’s the swelling? I’m 3 weeks PO, so very swollen, queued I’m going to have extra skin.

Curious to see if I’m going to end up with extra skin sun on my belly. With all this being said, my stomach looks so much better anyway. Also, any one else afraid your scar was going to keloid? If so is there acting I can do to help prevent this from happening? I’m waiting for silicone scar patches to come in the mail.
