9-Month Hair Transplant Update – Solid Improvement, Still Progressing
WORTH IT
I had my hair transplant with Dr. Cinik about 9 months ago, and I wanted to share an honest update for anyone considering the procedure.
Before the surgery, my main concern was thinning in the crown and overall density. During the consultation, Dr. Cinik explained the plan clearly, including realistic expectations, graft allocation, and the fact that the crown typically takes longer and may not reach full density in one session.
The procedure itself was smooth and well-organized. The team was professional, and I felt comfortable throughout the day. Post-op instructions were clear, and the clinic was responsive whenever I had questions during recovery.
The first few months were exactly as expected – shedding phase, followed by slow regrowth. Around month 5–6, I started noticing visible improvement, and by month 9, there’s a clear difference compared to before.
Current results:
* Front and mid-scalp look natural and improved
* Crown has filled in, but still slightly thin under strong lighting
* Hairline and overall look appear natural (no “pluggy” look)
I would say I’m around 80% of the final result at this stage, and I understand that the crown can continue improving up to 12 months or more.
What I liked:
* Honest consultation and realistic expectations
* Natural-looking result
* Good support during recovery
What could be better:
* Crown density is improved but not fully dense yet
Overall, I’m happy with the progress so far and feel it was worth it. I’ll continue to update as I reach the 12-month mark.
