The swelling lasted about 3 weeks and very happy with results. Dr, Wright made sure I was comfortable during the procedure, it was not a general anesthetic but I was asleep during the entire procedure. My husband picked me up afterwards and I was able to walk out of the office, although quite groggy and went home to sleep until 11:00 that evening.
