WORTH IT
My skin had become slack and no face cream on the planet would fix it ,plus I looked tired .I met with the gifted surgeon Dominc and found him to be a rather pleasant chap who saw straight away what I needed attendance with .
I had face lift and brow lift on 03.11.15
I had stitches out today and this was my first venture outside .So on the way home l thought I would treat myself to a scratch card and was asked to show ID ,I'm nearly fifty six .So I think you can say ,yes ,I'm pleased with my result and would recommend him. Actually my face looks natural and "fits" me.I don't look pulled .Its me ,but a fresh ,non tired me .If this is what you seek then Dominc is the surgeon

Welcome to "The Other Side" Limewood! ;D
So please to hear of yet another happy face.
At week two I got my first "Ding Dong!" from a guy on the street. I was completely covered apart from my face, so I could tell that that was what he was complimenting me on!
I also get very lovely comments from the builders up on Regents Crescent now which didn't happen any other time I walked past them in Wintery months until 2 weeks ago...
I think we can see the common denominator (or should that be Dom-nominator?!) here!

Hi Limewood, thank you for your post. I am booked in with Dominic for 11th Feb and have been having a few wobbles this week, so this came just at the right time. Have you got a lot of bruising or swelling? I'm due in on a Thursday and planning to have just the following week off but not too sure if I'm being too ambitious.

Hi Kassandra, excuse me for jumping in on someone else's thread. I took 13 days out of work, but my job is a bit more manual than desk based.
At week one I was still rather Joan Rivers. It depends on if you don't mind people knowing you've had something done or not. I have pics on my review.
I know it's becoming a cliche on here, but Dominic Bray really is great at what he does.

Hi Bienemaya - thanks for jumping in - the more the merrier! I think it'll be 11 days off for me, but maybe could book a few more days if needed. Did you feel ready to go back to work st 13 days? I'll have a look at your review now - thanks again!

I was nervous that one of my clients would spot something.
They did!
They kept raving about how tiny my waist had become in the 2 weeks since they saw me!

Hi Kassandra,
Your face will feel stiff and your range of motion in your neck will also be more limited. Will feel stiff and you quickly become 'conditioned' to moving your head, neck and shoulders as one unit. I felt very self-conscious of this for the first 4 weeks. It is quite a pressure to put yourself under returning to work after just a week. You will also tire easily. Try and get more time off to take some of pressure off yourself. Good to take it easy, ponder, toddle around and just give your face and body a bit of time to heal. I'd say an absolute minimum of 2 weeks. Wishing you the best of luck with Dominic and co in February!

Thanks Anon5223, really appreciate your reply. I think maybe I am being a tad ambitious so will book some more time off. Seems like it's so long to wait - just want to get it done now that I've made my mind up! x

Congratulations on your new face. Could I ask how old you are and do you have any before and after photos.

Thank you for all the lovely comments and this is to answer some of those questions.
I'm a shy soul and am sorry but don't wish to show photos of myself.
Surgery is serious and my advice is to follow exactly the information that Dominc Bray's Team provide. I did have bruises more on neck than on face .I followed hundred percent the Diet Dominic advises. This ttruly has helped but other factors such as gift of the surgeon and your own physicality comes into play regarding this matter. I was nervous about surgery but I knew I was in good hands. This is the key to any surgery one attempts .Finding a gifted surgeon but one who also captures a natural look that does not look man made.Someone called Dominc a Face God " and this truly is what he is .When you study his before and after pictures of his clients as I did before I chose him you will see just how expert he is.We are all different there is an art in a face and he can not only see it but is fortunate to have the hands to make it achievable.
