1 week post surgery hospital appointment update

WORTH IT
Yesterday I went to the hospital to get the dressings removed, wounds checked and new dressings.
Also had the cast and stitches removed from my nose.
The nurse said she was so shocked how small and neat the incision was so that’s good. Apparently very coming for my surgeon, he’s apparent very precise according to the nurses and honestly one of the reasons I chose him was his credentials within gate private sector and also how highly regarded he is in the NHS.
Can’t wait to change my tape on a week so I can see them for myself. When I run my fingers cross the tape they feel bumpy so will be interesting to see the final scar and placement.
I have to shower, wash and re-tape once once a week until my 3 month check up with my surgeon.
Nose cast- it was her first time removing a cast and that was the most painful part. Felt like someone was re-breaking my nose, however refrained from crying haha. I’m very swollen and more bruising after removal. I have to wear this cast on a night time and tape it on, again until my 3 month check up with my surgeon. Stitches under nose being removed stung a little however not too bad at all, the cast removal for me was by far the worst past. I didn’t have anything else in my nose to be removed. Sometimes I’ve seen people with packing etc but I had none of this.
Looking forward to the implants dropping and the incisions healing and my nose healing and being less swollen.
So far so good.

Welcome to the club!! Remember the first 3 weeks are brutal!! I called it sponge bob square boobs. I was miserable, I hated them, I was so upset. I'm 4 months out and mine are soft, squishy and amazing! Literally feel like I was born with them. Happy healing!!
A few days after posting this I started feeling lots better out them. I just had moments here I was "I knew I should have gone bigger, they aren't the right shape, my nipple sit low (because the implant was high). I'm week 3 tomorrow and I'm feeling much better about it all. I think because I've stopped looking at them every day. I look at them once a week now when I change badges. I'm a little sore on my cuts but healing for boobs and nose seems to be on track. I just can't wait to not sleep sitting up and then feel like they have always been there xx
I thought I would never sleep well again!!! But I am happy to report my surgeon actually told me to start sleeping on my stomach again!! It helped so much with my dropping and fluffing. And now that they are squishy it's comfortable! I was SO sad because my right nipple was so low at first but not anymore! You'll be so happy in a few months! I'm jealous of your nose job! I bet it looks amazing too!
That's good, glad things settled for you. I just keep wanting to sleep on my side ha. Yes I've wanted my nose done since I was 11! I have never been able to breath out of my nose. I also found out I had a deviated septum and he said the tip basically came out too far. So happy there's no big bump and I can breath through my nose. I can't wait for the swelling to all go so I can see the results. I hated photos from the side, not sure I have a before. But will try and upload some before and after a of both surgeries x

8 day blues- Feeling rubbish

My husband asked me if I’m excited to go bra shopping once they have settled. Before my operation I was so exited, I had a specific breast shape and size in mind, but honestly I’m really not excited anymore.
When I look at them, they just aren’t how I imagined them, they are a horrible shape. I know thy need to drop and fluff but I’m underwhelmed.
I know I’m only day 8, and I promised myself I’d not feel bad about how they looked in the first few weeks but I just had nice big round breasts in mind and I just feel they aren’t even noticeable where I’m feeling rubbish I’ve spent the money and I’m so much pain to be no where near what I wanted.
Also haven’t been the gym since the new year and I’ve sat around for a week and I’ve put on weight so I’m just feeling beyond hateful towards my body right now.

Left v right

Left breast is just on fire constantly around the whole breast however seems to be dropping and softer. Called the nurse today and she said they will check all is ok at my 1 week app tomorrow but sounds like stretching of the nerves rather than infection.

Right isn’t hurting, can feel a little where the stitches are if I move but no pain else where but still rock hard and higher up.
