I'm Done!!!

Just finished tray 27 and met with my dentist. He says I'm done. I don't think my teeth are perfect (my top tooth seems to stick out a little bit and my bottom teeth could be straighter) but they are much better then what they were and I'm happy and I'm glad to be done. Yesterday he took off the attachments and made my bottom teeth even (which made a big difference). He did my molds for my retainers and my whitening trays. They will be ready in two weeks. In the meantime I wear tray 27 all the time. When I go back in two weeks. He will even out a top tooth and will start re-doing some of the fillings that you can see (now that my teeth have moved). I will post pictures again when he is done with replacing the fillings and I have whitened my teeth. I am much happier now that my teeth look better. It took less than a year and was worth all the money. It really did go by fast!! The worse part was the lisp.

Tray 25

So happy to be on tray 25. I only have 2 more trays and then the dentist believes I will be done.
Attachments off
Scan for retainer
One filling has to be changed (because now you see it)
The dentist will file some of my bottom teeth to even them out and bleaching. I'm very excited to be almost done. I should have done Invisalign years ago. Here is the latest picture.

Tray 20

The lisp is getting better with this tray. I think the lisp was due to the way my teeth had to move. I just got back from a cruise and I was nervous having the trays while on vacation. I did drink with them in and brushed or rinsed as soon as I could. I had no problem popping those babies out at the table (so I could keep them in as long as possible before eating). Sometimes I had to put them back in without brushing but as soon as I could I would brush and floss. Tray 19 (which I switched to during vacation) was a killer. It was the first time I had experienced rough edges to the point that my mouth and tongue were killing me. I tried filing and clipping the tray but it didn't help. Of course it would happen while on vacation. I just dealt with it. The tray did get better as the week went on...or maybe my tongue just got used to it. I'm on tray 20 and my dentist did confirm that my treatment goes to tray 27. The last 3 trays (28,29 and 30) are only if he wants to tighten things up. I'm trying not to get my hopes up that I might be done in 7 weeks.....but I MIGHT be done in 7 weeks Woot Woot!!! hahaha!! I love how straight my top teeth are getting and the bottom teeth are moving right along too. My husband can't believe how a little piece of plastic can move and straighten the teeth. It's pretty amazing.
