ORIGINAL POST
5’4, 130 lb, Silicone Breast Augmentation
WORTH IT$5,250
Hi all, I have been wanting a Breast Augmentation for almost 10 years now and I am finally doing it! From years of buying Bombshell bras and being unhappy in a swimsuit or wearing certain tops/dresses, I am very excited! I am 5’4, 23 years old (no kids) and ~130lbs, athletic build. My current bra size is a 32C/34b but my left breast is more of a B and my right is more of an A.
As for surgeons, I chose Dr. Phillip Dauwe here in Dallas at Lemmon Plastic Surgery Center and I have booked my appointment for August 8th (1 month from today, so excited!!). During my consultation, I was SO pleased with his professionalism and that we were completely in sync with my goals and his recommendations. His recommendation was to do 240/255 CCs but after making rice sizers and looking at a million reviews and pictures, I am going to ask about doing 255/275 or even 275/295 based off his recommendation and how things look in surgery!
Thank you for reading this far, I am excited to document my journey for you and I hope I can help someone going for a natural look!

You won't be disappointed with his work! I had mine done April 4 with Dr. Dauwe!

What implant shape are you going for? Round or teardrop?

Hi! I am doing the Natrelle Inspira round silicone! I am either doing moderate or moderate plus profile

They'll look so good! Make sure to keep updating! It's really good way of tracking your changes as time goes on

Have you done your surgery yet? I had a revision with Natrelle Inspira Moderate profile implants (also in Dallas) about a month ago and I LOVE them!

Do you mean you picked the size of the breast implants you wanted? [Ie., 240/255 CCs?]
I wish my surgeon had given me that option! I've ended up with size G/DDDD cup breasts, and I hate the way I look!

Most surgeons do a consult, discuss your goals, let your try on sizers, and talk about what size and shape implant will work well with your body and best meet your goals. I’m sorry your surgeon didn’t do that.

I was very clear that I did not want to go over 300 CCs and I chose my surgeon because he was very conservative and valued a natural look, and something that I would be happy with for a very long time!

1 day pre
2 days pre-op
Hi all, just giving a quick update! I go in on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. and I am getting excited/nervous! I have bought Arnica pills which I started taking last night, picked up all of my RX's, bought Tylenol Extra Strength and Tylenol PM and now I just wait! My mom is coming tomorrow to stay the night with me and take me to surgery so we are going to go get some snacks for me to have around the house and some cute pjs or sweatpants that will be easy to wear for the next few weeks. I also ordered some front-zip sports bras from Amazon and they are so soft and stretchy, I think they are going to be perfect! Wish me luck and if you have any pre/post-op things you loved having, let me know!

Ice packs! Get 4 of the reusable ACE brand large cold compresses so you can rotate them. Ice will be your best friend the first couple of weeks! Good luck!

Thank you so much! My mom was supposed to bring me some tonight but I will add them to my list in case she forgets :)

Day of treatment
Day of Surgery
Surgery went really smooth, I came in and got my IV and talked to Dr. Dauwe about the final size. When we went into the operating room I was awake for about 2 minutes then the anesthesiologist said to take some deep breathes and I was OUT like a light. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in recovery with boobies!! Right now, I'm laying in bed waiting for my pain meds to kick in because my chest isn't necessary "right" but it feels like I did the most intense chest exercises of my life which is uncomfy. I will try to post a picture from the recovery room, not sure how swollen they are yet but we did Natrelle SRM Moderate Plus, 240cc in the left, 275cc in the right!

Congrats! You will be happy. Look after yourself. I had mine done 2 months ago and they finally feel like part of me now!

Thank you! Trying to take it easy but honestly I am feeling really great so I am trying not to take it for granted lol

The first day is the easiest! Take your pain meds regularly and try to get some sleep. Be prepared for some serious arm/pec weakness and bloating tomorrow. First couple of day are the worst, but I had my surgery with 325cc under the muscle on a Friday and was back to work Monday so it gets better!

I'm so glad you decided to start your review! I wish you all the best on your journey and hope you keep us posted!
