Terrible, the biggest mistake of my life. If I could give a negative star I would give him the worst rating possible!!!
I went to Dr. Sinclair for Facial Feminization Surgery.
He left me with a scar on my right bottom lip from a deep burn that he caused during surgery, and then tried to deny he caused it.
He left my nasal bone ridge intact, which shows, and then tried to claim,"it's not that noticeable."
My nose looks the same as before my surgery, only now with a new bump at the top. My jaws are still square which I paid for him to contour. He tried to pooh-pooh my still square jaws at a post surgery office visit, showing me pictures of Brooke Shields and Glenn Close, saying they both have
square jaws. Good for them, but it was not up to him to override my wishes and the terms of my contract with him, while I am under anesthesia!!!
But, what I'm really mad about is that when I smile, my lower lip does not raise up as he damaged it during the surgery. I had a consultation with another doctor about it, and he said the only remedy may be to inject the other side of my mouth with Botox so it too would not raise
up when I smiled, so at least my "smile" would be even. It's very traumatic, to say the least. Ironically, I found out after my surgery that Dr. Sinclair had gone to Spain for Facial Feminization Surgery training AFTER he performed my procedures. At my last visit with Dr. Sinclair he conceded
that maybe he should have done more work on me but refused to do any additional work or to make any corrections. He asked that I put my requests (for reimbursement) in writing. which I did. The letter outlined what it would cost me to have another surgeon correct and complete the work.
To this date I have not heard back from him.
I am in the process of having all of Dr. Sinclair's faulty and incomplete work corrected by another team of surgeons. These corrections are costing me more than the original amount I paid for the procedures performed by him.
