I am 6 days post op and I have MAJOR swelling. I am able to see a little improvement in my waist but everything else is very swollen (abdomen, thighs, back, waist, flanks) is this normal?! My doctor said I will be swollen for up to three months- I am feeling so discouraged because of how swollen I am!

Aww, don't be discouraged hun. You'll noticed a significant decreasein your swelling as early as 3 weeks. At that point also, You may notice that your butt will seem smaller. But that is normal, don't let that alarm you.

Pretty normal- some people swell a lot after the lipo and it will take some time to go down. All part of the healing process. Keep us posted on your recovery and if you start to see the swelling go down. It helps to take weekly pics in the same pose, they help you see the small changes.
