7ish week checkup
Just had a checkup with Dr Kremer this morning and everything is healing well and as expected. Still some bits of swelling - but it will take 4-6 months for it to keep going down. I am very happy with my choice to have this procedure and it feels very much my new normal now. Looking forward to October when we have a very big formal event and how fab it will look by then.
Just a word out scars. I haven’t used any silicon gel yet but will start today. They are still young and will flatten and tighten up and fade over time so I’ll definitely post updates as they do. The only visible scars are in front and behind the earlobe, as the rest go in the crease behind my ear and then up high into my hairline. I have zero qualms about wearing my hair up. I can’t understand why anyone would do this procedure with a surgeon who tracks the incision from midway behind the ear into the hairline!

That is a massive improvement from your before photos, even with the swelling.
You are so right about the scars behind the ears - I've seen some awful ones where they cut across the skin low down at the back of the ear.
Apologies if I've already asked, but how high do the scars go in front of your ears? Are they just around your lobes or do they go higher and into your temples?
Also, do you have any lumpiness in your neck from the lipo? Thanks.

Scars in front of ears are just around the front of my lobes up to just under the tragus.
I don’t think my neck is lumpy from lipo at all. My skin isn’t perfectly smooth, but only because I had some fairly deep-set neck creases/lines from before. If they still bother me after I am fully healed I could do some skin treatments or filler I guess. I wasn’t after fake perfection though....just a better version of me. Definitely important to be realistic about what results are possible on “you” vs someone it’s different anatomy.

Side by 3/4 side
The funny thing is I hardly have any before pics because I hated them and would delete them.
Here is a sort of side by side from one picture that I would have considered acceptable before!

Your results are brilliant, thanks for sharing. Can I ask what it was about your surgeon that made you choose him rather than others you'd consulted? Also, what is the post-op care like? Is your surgeon accessible personally by phone or email for any post-op concerns? These sort of things are really important to me, as some people say that their surgeon's attitude changes for the worse afterwards. Thank you.

I met with multiple doctors and discussed options with them all - from fat melting injections, pure lipo, full neck lift....to doing nothing and waiting for a neck lift/lower FL in 10 years. I found my docs by researching (and a little help from Tatler magazine) and while they were all good quality PS I really felt Dr Kremer was the most engaged and the most understanding of what I was after and what was realistic to achieve. Essentially once I had settled on doing a full neck lift with plasmaplasty he was the only choice for me. Necks are one of his specialties. As for post-op Dr Kremer and is lovely PA are excellent. I bombarded them with questions the first few weeks after and always got prompt and caring responses. email/phone/WhatsApp - and not just during “business hours”. I have seen Dr Kremer twice since the day or surgery and will have a six week visit as well. I had no issues or complications but I am confident that if I had I would have been thoroughly taken care of.

Yeah sorry for lack of updates! All good. I am on holiday so not really hiking about it. Have my 6 week checkup soon so will post them. Scars looking pretty good! I am not even worried about hiding them.
