Always go with Derm Doc! Nobody else.

I’ve gone back to do more IPL as I purchased a package a year ago. I now see the Doctor himself and nobody else. He’s excellent and I will continue to see him for my future touch-ups.

I now am getting itchy rashes on my neck and I've never had this before and there is a larger red bump that won't go away. This all started happening after I did Ipl. I am so not happy with my skin at all. I feel like it worse now then before the treatments.

I've read on this site so many people having problems with ipl and I have had it done several times and I didn't have any problems at all...I have fair skin. I am wondering if having problems with this procedure has alot to do with who does the procedure for you and if their as skilled and eduacated at it as they should be. It seems like alot people that have problems are having it done at Spa's and places like that instead of with someone proffessionally trained to do it ..
I don't know; my first experience with IPL was ok: this was with an aesthetician affiliated with a dermatologist. The second experience, with FYBBL was the one that harmed my skin permanently. This was at the same office with a different aesthetician. The machine kept overheating and shutting off. If only I'd known better...

42 year old IPL done 3 times!!
I have had 3 IPL treatments over the course of 3 months. The first treatment went really well and I loved the results. The second treatment was with the nurse and she overlapped on my cheek area and now I have a small scar from the scab falling of to soon. My skin was swollen and red. This did not happen the first time. Also a different machine was used the second time. It was an older machine. I do use Retin A on my skin and stopped using before treatment and for three weeks after. My skin now is super dry and where there was overlapping on my cheeks my wrinkles are more prominent. I bought a package of 4 and now I don't want to do the 4th session. My chest did get really good results and thats the only place I am happy with. When will my skin get back to that smooth complexion??

How is your skin now?
Did you use hydroquinone at all before or after? Do you have melasma?
Can I would know how is going on with your face up until now? I have been done fractora treatment then now they are booking me appointment to do IPL treatment because I complain my face had many spot darker after farmo and fractora treatment
