42, 5'5" 130 Breast Reduction with Lift and Biological Mesh

I have been wanting this surgery for over 15 years. Since I have had children my breasts starting to sag so badly that now I am experiencing arthritis in my neck. I currently wear a 34G and 30H in other brands. My doctor is putting a biological Mesh in my breast so they can hold up better. Has anyone had this used before, I would appreciate any feedback? My insurance is covering the procedure with my doctor taking out 338G in each breast. At this point, I just want to comfortable and out of pain. If anyone has my size breast, I would be curious as to what size you ended up after surgery? My surgery is Jan 20th. I am so grateful for my doctor for getting my procedure approved.

Hello and Welcome! You definitely start big, straight to surgery! Due to arthritis diagnosed, did you need to have documented treatment for it, before the insurance approved coverage? Beat of outcome for the big day! Hugs xoxoxo

Hello, no I got it approved before I found out it, I was in a car accident a few months ago and my Chiropractor took x-rays of my neck. I told him of some pain before hand I was experiencing on my left hand all the way down to my thumb. I thought it was carpal tunnel but he said that's the other side of the wrist. Next appt he told me It was the arthritis from my neck from my large breasts that was causing the pain all the way down to my thumb. I hope anyone else that has this gets checked out right away. I've been having this over a year just thought it was from my job.

My surgery was around 5 hours, it was a long first day but everything went well. I went into my doctor the next day for a check up. He said I’m good until next Tuesday. I have bandages and tape and compression bra on until than. I also have have 2 lines going into my breast one is for pain and one is a anti inflammatory. I I’ll get that out on Tuesday as well. My mother has been taking care of me and I must say I have followed my doctors orders strictly. Hardly any pain just feels like I have done lots of chest exercises. I’ve been off my pain meds for 2 days now. I will update next Tuesday.

Wow-wow! What a beautiful result!!! Congrats! Plus that your torso/ waist is sooo thin and beautifully contoured ! Your doctor is a wiz! Looking again- love-em:)- through your pix, there are some mark-ups below your boobs/ on each side of your abdomen, in pic 8/13. Is that for abdomen lipo? Also did you get any 'side-boob' or armpit lipo to get such a beautiful chest ?? Following Thanks again for sharing ! Hugs xoxoxox

I had no lipo , I had a pico line in me for 7 days for infections and inflammation.

Hi, I am in the process of getting my date! I am learning so much and I am super thankful to this community for their expertise and good will in sharing!. What is a pico?
January 30, 2020
How exciting for you, can't wait for you to get your date for surgery. So I had two things the pico was for my incisions https://mms.mckesson.com/content/shop-products/product-resources-2/pico-system/. Than I had ON-Q pain relief system. That's where I had the 2 Lines going into each breast. One was pain medicine and one was an anti inflammatory. I think that's why I had hardly any pain. Only disadvantage I couldn't take a shower for 7 days. In the end well worth it.
