13 days after surgery

I’ve been wanting to wait to post an update till I see more changes. I don’t think they’ve changed much but I’ll go ahead and update you guys! I had my post op appointment a week after my surgery. They took the steri strips off my incisions and said the incisions are almost all the way closed, so I’m healing fast! After about a week I was pretty much back to normal. Certain movements and moving around too much would cause some soreness. I’m 13 days out from surgery but I’ll post a picture I took yesterday with this update. Still sleeping elevated on a few pillows which is so uncomfortable but my PS recommended I do it for 6 weeks. Other than that I feel completely normal! They are still sitting high and are still hard but slowly getting softer. They don’t feel like foreign objects sitting on my chest anymore, now they feel like a part of my body like they’ve always been there!

Last night was the first night that I didn’t have to take any pain medicine throughout the night. The pain really hasn’t been bad at all so I’m gonna try to just take regular Tylenol and Advil from now on. Lefty is still huge and starting to drop while righty hasn’t changed much. I was able to go shopping today and it was so nice to get out of the house.

Woke this morning with some major morning boob, took some pain meds, iced them and it felt so much better after. I was able to shower by myself without feeling any pain which was so nice. It’s starting to get easier and easier and they’re starting to feel more a part of my body now. They’ve started itching a lot but I’ve been putting palmers stretch mark oil on them and that has helped. Lefty has started dropping and I’m loving it. Righty is still a little tighter and square but I’m right handed so that muscle needs more time to loosen up I think. I’m loving the progress so far and hoping they’ll keep healing quickly.
