40 Years Old, Neck and Lower Facelift with Fat Transfer to Cheeks

The day of the surgery was a breeze! Nurses in Dr. Listas officd and kind and caring and made me feel completely at ease. Dr Lista and Dr Austin were friendly and professional and caring and made me feel confident about the surgery. I am now 5 days post, with very little pain - more uncomfortable from the swelling but that is to be expected. Swelling is more on the right side than the left, I was expencting uneven swelling because I have read it is normal. Here are pictures of me from yesterday - 4 days post. Before and afters. Every day the swelling goes down and I am excited to wake up and look at myself in the mirror. I will update as the weeks go on! I am thrilled at the results so far and so thankful to Dr. Lista, Dr. Austin and the team.

One month before! I met with several surgeons / clinics and decided on Dr. Lista as I immediately trusted him and connected with him. He was friendly and honest and confident. I also reached out to a former patient of his that had the exact same procedure that I am going to have - and she assured me that her experience was amazing, and she looks amazing. It is very reassuring to speak to a former patient and I am so glad that she responded to my Instagram message to her!

I have always hated my neck, and after losing 45 pounds last year I now hate it even more. Every picture that is taken of me has to be at a high angle with my hair in front of my neck and it is exhausting to constantly think about. I finally decided to take the plunge and for my 40th birthday met with Dr. Lista to discuss treatment options. He recommend a Neck and Lower Facelift as well as a fat transfer to my cheeks. My surgery is 1 month away, Aug 10. I am so nervous and excited - I will update in the days following!
