I finally decided to do it for me

UPDATED FROM Jubilant215

1 month update

WORTH IT$32,000
1 month update one of my implants failed and had to be removed I kept getting infection where that implant was. It was the zygomatic implant disappointing but I still have 5 more in the upper so hoping they hold out. I've been pretty uncomfortable the whole time assuming it was all from that 1 failed inplant since the pain was all in that area.

What's going on now?
I had my implants put in, in 2013, and I haven't seen, or heard of one failing outright, nor have I read of any failures. Was it a painful experience? Did you need a bone graph prior to surgery? Which Doc did your surgery? I guess I have more questions than I thought. Anyway, that's a huge fear of mine, although I did quit smoking before the procedure.
I see you're not very active, at least in this thread/post. If this message gets to you, maybe you can share a bit? Which one failed? Feel free to message me if you'd prefer.

I went back and forth trying to decide if this was the right decision for me. I'm 37 and have had many dental issues failed root canals lack of insurance forcing me to get extractions. I was so embarrassed to smile and talk friends couldn't really tell there was anything wrong with my teeth because the front of my mouth managed to stay intact.

I finally decided to do it for me I'm 3 days post-op haven't had any severe pain. I have some facial swelling nothing crazy I did put ice on immediately and continue to everyday no bruising as of right now I don't like how the temporary teeth feel it's kind of bulky makes my speech a little different.

I relied on so many posts I've read here during my decision making I wanted to do the same to hopefully help others. I at this point do not have any regrets and will keep updating throughout the process my next post-op appt. Is this Friday.
