Best All-on-4 Specialist in Dallas - My Journey to a New Smile
My past experiences - I have finally found a dental implant specialist that I consider to be the very best in Dallas, the country, maybe even the world! I’d venture to say not only is he my dentist but he is a friend and even part of my family. A little bit of back story: I’ve never liked going to the dentist. In fact, I would consider it torture. Honestly in my 65 years of life I have only had 2 dentists that I have liked. Both of them retired, one after years of practicing and the other to become a stay at home mom. The many other dentists that I have had over the years have been driven by the almighty dollar and I would even say downright evil in my book. In making my decision to find the best specialist in dental implants I did my research. I visited multiple practices and met multiple dental implant specialists, including the big names like gulpa and clearchoice. I liked that Dr. Iskandar educates other dentists at the Texas Institute of Texas Implantology. He has even created his own prosthetics: XircOn Ultra, they are practically weightless unlike the other types at other practices. Nothing in my research compared to the quality at Radiance.
Dr. Iskandar - However, Dr. Iskandar at Radiance Dental Implant Center is anything but evil or greedy he is the exact opposite: kind and compassionate, friendly, caring and eager to please. I have found the perfect dentist in Dr. Iskandar. From the very first visit I was not embarrassed nor did I ever feel belittled by my dental woes. In fact, Dr. Iskandar always has a big smile & a warm handshake & hug for me! Dr. Iskandar maintains eye contact & listens attentively to what I have to say. I love the fact he has a playful personality but he’s also SERIOUS about restoring your mouth to perfection. He is an expert on All-on-4 restorations, single implants, multiple implants...and anything related! His demeanor immediately relaxed me & my trust level rose exponentially! Not to mention, my blood pressure came down considerably.
Dr. Iskandar’s staff—from the moment you walk into Radiance I was greeted warmly & by name! Wait time is always zero-5 minutes. Lis, Dr. Iskandar’s assistant, was my safety blanket. She assured me every visit she was there to care for me & she did just that! I was asked multiple times, are you comfortable, do you feel pain, etc. she is the pulse of the group, along w/ Dr. Iskandar, of course. Everyone on staff treated me with kindness & respect—once again family enters in here.
I had A LOT of work done in the span of 8 hours. I can honestly say I had no pain!! Discomfort to a small degree afterwards but nothing OTC meds couldn’t maintain. Such a pleasant surprise.
This facility is the state-of the-art like no other dentist office I’ve been in! There is TV streaming by Netflix, if you care to watch & there are vibrating chairs & warm blankets!!
I was given explicit instructions & a handbook in advance so I knew what to expect after surgery. Lis also reminded me they were a phone call away 24/7 if I had pain or any questions or concerns.
The recovery time was easy. I was able to care for myself the day after surgery. (Because of the anesthesia they recommend someone stay overnight the day of surgery)
My mouth has been restored! I have a healthy mouth & a movie style smile! If anyone needs the extra push to get started & get a plan in action, I’m your girl! Dr. Iskandar & the Radiance team (lab guys included) are the very best!
