38GG 23years Breast Reduction - now a DD cup!!!

WORTH IT$6,850
I was thinking about having this operation for over 2 years.. I finally said to myself. Enough is really enough! (Back pain, shoulder pain, neck ache, can’t wear lovely clothes, bikinis and bras are hard to come by and are so expensive for the larger breast)
I paid private. I had my op on Valentine’s Day, 14th Feb 2018. It’s now the 19th Feb 2018.
I was so terrified.. I’ve never had any op before, never had to go to hospital before....So when I arrived I was in floods of tears.. but luckily for me I had a great surgeon and a great nurse!! My op took around 2.5 hours.. I went down, was put to sleep and woke up in recovery. When I woke up couldn’t hardly feel any pain as I was dosed up.. in fact I haven’t really been in alot of pain since surgery. I only got given 1 dose of morpheme and that wasn’t long after the op.. since then I have just been on paracetamol and codeine.
The most painful part for me was having the drains taken out but it was over in a flash, and I would say a slight sting sensation rather than pain.
You will feel discomfort at home because you literally cannot do anything! That’s the hard part.... sitting around doing nothing! As long a you control your meds well. You will not be in pain.. it’s discomfort and abit of soreness/tenderness.
I’m a now proud owner of DD’s! I’m still tapped up so I haven’t seen my scars yet. I will however post some pics along the way..
Any questions please ask.

I had my surgery the same day! Glad to hear you’re doing well. And I agree, doing nothing is the hardest part!

I also had my operation the same day in London. Glad you are doing well. I’m so glad I did it, just wish I had done it years ago.

Hi Lauren, Thank you for sharing your story. From what I can see, you look great. I’m sure you’ll feel so much better. I’m presently waiting for my date. I’m having my reduction on the NHS. I’ve heard many personal stories, most being positive but it doesn’t seem to help with my fears and concerns lol. I’ve had surgery in the past but it was an internal op, nothing visible. I’m terrified of how my op will go, what size I’ll be, how I’ll feel/ react when I see them for the first time, how I’ll heal? etc etc!! I’m not sleeping well and I’ve also had nightmares. Is this normal lol?? I’ve added a post with a couple of photos but I’ll update once I’ve got my date? I hope you continue to recover well. Take it easy and look after yourself.

hello hello! today is the 10th day.. the last 2 days I’ve had 2 paracetamols the WHOLE day! you will be so fine!! I had nightmares, perfectly normally... it’s a big op! I already fell lighter, and my boyfriend, friends and family keep saying how much slimmer I look... so I’m loving it! The mot discomfort you will have is sleeping as for the first 2 weeks you have to sleep upright.. and in the morning you can be abit stiff, achey. But you will never be in agony or unbearable pain!! On the day I was so scared and crying etc etc... but I came out in no pain! and was topped up on codeine and paracetamol, that it! xx

Thank you for that Lauren. I’m feeling less panicky this week but I’m hoping that it’s not too long until I get my date??
It must feel wonderful when people start commenting on how well you look.
I hope your recovery continues smoothly.
As soon as I get a date, I’ll update!

You look fabulous...I wish I had done this thirty years ago...the healing would have been so much easier. I had mine jan 26, 2018, just before turning 60. I am so happy all you young girls won’t have to endure a lifetime of torture as I did. It sure is good to be free finally!

it’s a huge decision to make for anyone at any age I think. I feel so much better! xx

Lauren, I was a 34ddd (5’5”, 156lb and athletic). I don’t know my final size but around a 34c. I can now wear a lace bralette instead of major support and it feels so good! Only 10 days out, and I was able to go for a short walk around the neighborhood today. Doc said I can start doing more this week as long as I don’t use my arms too much or lift much.
February 24, 2018
amazing! congrats! I’m being a little bit naughty and probably using my arms too much, but I can’t feel the pain too much... I’m forgetting that I only had an op 10 days ago.. I just ache! x

Your looking great you must be thrilled with your results . I had my BR 22nd Feb . It’s really difficult to not do anything I think it’s the hardest part. Do you still have a lot of swelling ? I’ve managed to slide down my bed and have been laying flat through the night which has produced swelling on my upper chest .
March 18, 2018
Hello. yeah my swelling took about 3 weeks to go down.. my scars are tender and I’m on my 4th week now.. but I am due on so that could be why.. I still hurt if I try lay on my side so I’m still laying on my back!
