nose does look a little longer, but merely visually. If you prefer you result lasts longer - leave no more than 5mm between your copper and nose line. Do take gravity into stride when considering your gap reduction.

Dr. Leslie Kuek is one of the few doctors who listens, discusses, advises accordingly and then perform an immaculate job! He's been attentive and careful. He showed me the effect took during the operation just before he had to lay the final stitching and I was amazed at the line underneath my nose was already barely noticeable - so thin it was and, it looked so neat and clean around the area. He is no doubts a perfectionist!

Beautiful results and one of the best I've seen! You did not have a very long upper lip to begin with, but you were still mindful of getting it right the first time. I like that your doctor mostly lifted the center of your lips giving a real youthful shape. My little toddler's lips are shaped like yours and its so angelic not to compare you to a toddler lol. Thanks for sharing! <3

Super nice very beautiful thanks for updating

Totally Amazing result. Another simple skin only lip lift that lifted the corners without having to do a separate procedure. Sexy!!
September 8, 2016
I meant to say that your regular lip lift not only lifted the center but you also ended up with incredibly sexy corners without having to do a separate corner lip lift.

The result is really great! Very seductive look with the mouth half open - like a model! I have 2 cm between nose and lip and I am afraid that the doctor will take no more than 8 mm away - so I will never reach the goal of 5 mm - but even 1.2 cm might be a huge improvement compared to now. What do you think?
September 8, 2016
ofcourse 1.2 cm is MUCH better than 2 cm

But still far away from 5 mm as Juliah suggests. However, I think it depends on the anatomy of the mouth - if would look funny and unnatural if one would take away 1,4 cm I guess

Looking very good. Good luck with further healing. Can you please tell me how many millimeters were excised and how long your philtrum was prior to the surgery?
January 17, 2016
Thank you! Initially, I wanted 7mm, doc recommended 5mm, I insisted on 6mm to excise, around 8mm left over.

You are looking great!
Would love to see your pics in a few months. I had a lip lift and lower by plasty one year ago with dr. Randal Haworth, and I am going back first of February for some minor tweaking that's bothering me.. I hope to walk away fully happy after all I've spent, but yours looks amazing!! ... And a much less expensive price tag attached!
So eager to see your progress.
Beautiful results so far.

I meant VY plasty not by plasty, sorry typos

Thank you for your comments.
I do have a little concern regarding the overall shape of my lips. Now that I've lift up my cupid's bow, the side corners of my lips began looking a little thiner. Nevertheless, I am definitely happy with the result of the surgery, but I fear I may be back to correct the sides of the lips later in a while.
January 18, 2016
I am actually going back first week of February for some adjustments. That's one of my concerns too.
January 19, 2016
I see, you did the same surgery 4 months ago and now you're feeling your lips' side corners have gone thiner which also makes the mouth looks rather smaller. How are you going to adjust it, what's the plan?
January 19, 2016
I'm more concerned with a lumpy tissue area on inside of bottom of lip that gets in the way of teeth and speech, very annoying. Not sure how he's going to fix that but he has stated he will. Also the incision line around nose has some irregularities and divots I hope he can fix, ... The thinner sides I would be happy with injections at this point to be done with it all, bc I can't afford to go back for more surgery and get fat which he reccomended unless he can do it there in office.

I love how your lips look. They look very sexy. Personally, I love the corners of your lips. They look very youthful and pouty. I would leave them
alone. Maybe filler but no more surgery! You are lucky that you had such an awesome result!
February 3, 2016
Thank you for your kind words, tho, your profile sounds a little sad - why is it a lostbeauty (((
February 3, 2016
Have you seen your doc yet? Has he fixed your lumpy tissue ? Hope all went well.

You are still very early in recovery and have swelling. This will take a number of months to resolve and your lip should change a lot until around 4 months. You look great for 12 days post op! Best to you.

Thank you Lulu for your positive comment. How have you been yourself. Are you feeling settled with the result now or something is still bothering you? I know there are 3 more months until my full recovery at least, but things like my nose that has become longer due to two reasons: one is the post operation effect, but most of all because the gap between the cupid's bow and nose now has been reduced, it does prolong my nose visually even more so. It is a little annoying especially after my rhinoplasty and although, my mouth has become so much more beautiful and elegant naturally indeed, it is my upper lip that now looks so much thinner as you have also pointed out. I guess those are the downsides that one only knows when one's done it.....
February 1, 2016
Yes I know how much you had taken off but how long was your philtrum before the surgery?
February 3, 2016
it was 14mm (:

You looked much better before this
January 16, 2016
I agree ... You lips looked much better before.. But if you love it that's all that matters.
January 16, 2016
Completely disagree, before operation I had so hateful fish lips effect occured due to the fillers. They looked so artificial & plumped & rather tatty exacerbated by my big mouth - they had no elegance. Current form eliminates any necessity for use of fillers , which also used to accumulate fairly high additional cost. More importantly, lip lifting visually creates a little face lifting, Also, slightly open mouth consensually adds an innocent look which in some degree restores the youthful feel to the face looking more natural and less common, in my humble opinion. I am very happy and love the result as you can tell ))))
