After stalking this site for 5+ years I can’t believe I’m posting on here - finally doing it!!! Here are my rough before pics - 5’6 165lbs. My husband was very hesitant to let me do plastic surgery, but he came with me to my consult with Dr Hazani and talking with him and his staff helped put his mind at ease ... a little lol. I’m scheduled in about 4 weeks! I’ll be starting a ‘surgery diet’ (help reduce inflammation) next week to try and give a smooth recovery the best shot possible.
I came in initially for just lipo. I LOVE the bbl look/shape but 1. I already knew I can’t commit to not sitting for the drivers for so long with my job, and 2. I honestly don’t reallyyy want things bigger on me. I want the smallest me possible. BUT, more important than that, is to make sure I’m proportioned well. I’ve seen a lot of women get lipo to their love handles/hips, but they end up looking top heavy with no curves. So I asked him about that and he said well you can get fat transfer to just our hips, you can still sit and get and hourglass shape. SOLD! My butt isn’t great right now, but it’s a good size for me and I know when I work out it shapes up just fine. Things I’m excited for: Want those hip dips GONE. I have this hideous ‘shelf’ I call it that just looks weird and gross on my upper butt??I can’t wait for that to be gone or smoothed out. No more back rolls, bat wings, and inner thighs rubbing together. So uncomfortable! 2 Things I’m worried about: 1. The hourglass shape. I’m pretty picky about where I want the curves to sit. Sometimes docs put the widest curve of the hip at the ASIS of the hip bone (front of the hip that you can feel) That’s too high for me, I don’t like it at all. I like it to be lower, kind of where your vag is. I think it gives a longer leaner appearance. 2. Do I rreeaalllyyy need the fat transfer? I’m wondering if I get my outer thighs lipo’d instead of fat transfer and just had him contour my hips, I might have a decent hourglass still? (Plus all the lipo on the top half, so I probably wouldn’t be top heavy?) I don’t know. I kind of started to ask but he said the only way to keep our glass is to get fat transfer. SO, I’m trusting the doc on this one. Better safe than sorry. What I like about Dr Hazani is he has natural results, nothing over the top, which is what I’m looking for. I do hope he goes aggressive with the lipo though. Anyways.... keep Y’all posted!

I completely agree and this is my number one concern with bbl’s. The hips end up looking like space ships and you can spot a bbl instantly. Looking forward to seeing your results.

Made it to the other side - and I HURT. Discovering I have a very low pain tolerance. I have my post op in the morning. They said they had a hard time getting me under anesthesia and my pain was awful waking up. My whole body was shaking with pain until he nurse maxed out the pain meds to make it just tolerable enough. I got home and my husband went to change the bandages and fluid was pouring out of me... lol we had a bit of a panic. I got pretty faint and had to lay down on the floor. It was not fun. But I got back up and got the bandages on and we’ve found our stride. Swelling and bruising is really setting in as it’s my second night and I’m very sore when I move. Woof! Since I only got transfer to my hips, I’m fortunate enough to be able to sit a little and lay on my back sometimes (although that’s what is most sore) The staff has been very nice. Initial thoughts on my results - front and sides look awesome I think. Backside is clearly very swollen and deformed, so we’ll have to wait and see. Looks like he could have lipod more from my back from behind too, but it’s only day 2! Everything has to settle into place still so I’m saving judgement honestly. But pretty optimistic so far. My arms are super swollen so I can’t tell at all with them yet, and I haven’t unwrapped inner thighs but I’m sure the same with them. Keep you posted!
