34 Year Old Mom of 2...scheduled for Breast Lift with Implants

Tomorrow makes 5 weeks post op and my breasts look and feel so natural already. I don’t feel any tightness or limited range of motion when I move my arms. I bought a stationary bike to work out since I can’t run or jump rope as I previously did since my implants (under the muscle) need more time to heal. I have much less scarring than I expected since brown skin usually has hyperpigmentation. I am looking forward to seeing how well the SkinMedica Scar Recovery Gel works.

This pic is from 1 week post op 7/29/20. I still had my steri-strips on to support the incisions. I had already had 2 post-op appointments at this time and was able to drive myself. I couldn’t put my hands above my head yet at this point but the swelling had reduced significantly and I was feeling pretty much back to normal.

I am in way less pain than I expected. I would describe it more as discomfort but totally worth it. I slept sitting upright in my lounge chair with my feet elevated on the ottoman and was pretty comfortable. Dr. Ferraro is exceptional and I couldn’t be any more pleased with my experience. The ambulatory care center where my surgery was preformed was state of the art. The staff of nurses and the anesthesiologist were amazing. I woke up feeling a little nauseous but other than that I have no complaints. I saw Dr. Ferraro today to change my dressing and I must admit I’m feeling pretty good.
