Update
Hi all. I had to delete the app to make room on my phone and then Covid happened. The painful welts healed after about 10 days but it was a nightmare and there if virtually no result. If it did something, I can’t see it and I know my body really well. So, no, I personally would not recommend this treatment!
subcutaneous induration
So, right those red blots I thought were weird bruises? They’re subcutaneous induration, a rare and self resolving complication that could nevertheless stay around for a couple of weeks. These red patches have since become hard and even more painful. I’ve been treating it with ice and ibuprofen to reduce inflammation.
Seriously? In all the info I read, no one talked about this, but the moment I had it I realised that it was common enough to have been mentioned in several places around the internet. I was prepared for various side effects but this one is really uncomfortable.

Bruising
I was surprised right after the treatment that I didn’t see any bruising. I found the suction aspect of the treatment so unpleasant that I couldn’t talk during it.
On Friday I didn’t feel anything unpleasant but then by Saturday my body started to hurt. I have painful bruises in the areas that the suction cups touched. Whenever something touches these areas it’s horrible. Not in the “take pain meds” type of pain, but it’s more soreness and pain than I was expecting.
Moreover, I have the same pain on my inner thighs just from the technicians attempts to get at that fat with the suction cups. My thighs are mostly muscles, and the little fat pocket is on the very top. But I literally had to do a split to be in a position for the suction cups to teach that area and sorry for being overly descriptive, but it felt like it was taking my vagina in as well. Of course, there was no way I would be like that for 45 minutes so I told the lady to forget about it.
Anyway, my inner thighs are bruised too just from the attempt. I think it’s because of having less fat so the skin stretches more? Or is this a normal side effect?
They’re strangely pink bruises and haven’t yet changed colour, but they’re more faded than yesterday.
I’ve added some pictures. Keep in mind that the horizontal red lines are from my pants and jeans, which is another thing, the place is so tender my clothes are leaving marks.
